This video will address a variety of reasons why our images are not sharp and the solution for each issue. It will cover what you think might be the reason, and several causes you might not even consider. We often just say an "image isn't sharp" or "it is out of focus." However, there are several reasons our images might lack sharpness and discovering why can lead to solutions!

at 11:55, In OM1mkii I assigned front lower button to choose AI focus detection type and front upper button to choose which object to focus on. Works good. Thanks Lee for your usefull video :)

Thanks for a good eye-opener - I only rarely use my 75-300mm, because it is not particularly sharp - and yet - it has surprised me that many people recommend it as being OK. sharp (obviously for the price) while my pictures are not. I photograph mostly with my 8-25 (or to water) and am used to the m4/3's great advantage with great depth of field. Over the years (before PureRaw etc.) I have gotten used to using as low an ISO as possible, and thus also a small f:number. I'll have to get used to looking at the depth of field when choosing f: number Again - thanks a lot.

Yea, consumer lenses are fine for some, but for those expecting tack sharp, incredible images pro lenses are generally the way to go (there are some incredible non-pro lenses though and I have a few)! Appreciate your kind words!

Great video. Very helpful. :0) I’ll be looking in my menu for my frames per second and my SH2 settings. And maybe more specifically I’m wondering how pro capture coupled with that affects my auto focus. I use pro captureSH2 plus CAF for birds. I guess my question specifically is the camera continuously auto focusing in this mode?

I'm guilty. Too slow a shutter speed too often and too large an aperture. Maybe this video will help drill it into my head to pay attention to what I'm doing. Thanks for posting this.
