Doc Jenni assesses a Quarter Horse displaying a mild lameness. She discusses how weather can affect tenderness in hooves. Doctor Jenni has the horse trotted in either direction to see his way of going while looking to pinpoint the issue as well as clinch testing. She offered suggestions for specific boots to help keep him comfortable until the weather is safe for the farrier to come out and put shoes back on. Doc Jenni and the horse owners work out a plan to increase the horses comfort before the farrier can come out.
