The fact that this game is still going so strong is crazy. It's already almost 10 years old. There needs to be something new come out at some point...it's getting to be like Live for Speed at this point if you're old enough to remember that game (the never ending saga of 3.0 which eventually came out like 10 years later lol)

Tbh it would be pretty cool if AC2 is just a port of AC1 with a revamped graphics pipeline, better AI, some QOL updates and modern community/server features. That's what AC1 lacks natively right now. Everything else is pretty much covered with mods and the base game. Sequels to this type of game should build upon what's there and modernize, not start from the ground up. AC1 is the most robust foundation for a racing game on the market already, why start from scratch in something like UE? I'm not a game dev though I suppose.

I must say that as a professional game environment artist myselft this is one of the very few reshade/texture and light mod for a game that really improves and get the game close to a real life look. Great Job for the Creators and i just hope someone make a mod that also improve the sound system for the game instead of just replacing the sounds themselves, as together with a mod like this would make AC amazing good looking and also belivable and realistic.

Very nice job. I try it and after optimising my FPS with yours tips in your next video, I had also to change in the ppfilter file "ini" the value of vignetting strentgh due to my ultrawide 34" screen else I had a very pixellated blue gradient into the sky. I change value to 0.2 and it's so nice now. Thank you very much man.

I cant use your latest ppfilter, my frames drop to 25 since i have a 1070ti, but i managed to make my game look almost like your with a previous version ppfilter and reshade from you with some modifications. my game looks almost like yours. Je te conseille ma dernière version qui est la 1.3 que tu trouveras sur ma chaîne. Avec la 1.3 il n'y a plus besoin de Reshade et les performances sont largement meilleures et est compatible avec les dernières versions de Pure👍

Put a distorted lens effect (almost kind of like a fisheye) and a more shaky cam and it would be hard to distinguish from real footage

Just to warn low resolution users (below 1080p), your screen might show some white kinda pixel stripes with this specific reshade, I suggest you then to take the reshade off

With the latest PURE 0.180 you don't need Reshade anymore since it has tonemapping features. Hopefully you will be able to get the same efftect or even better and be able to regain your FPS back.

for now I'm testing with Pure 0.180 and even with tonemapping I get a nice rendering but not as I want I'm still working on it. you can uncheck "ppfx ssdo" and "mxao" to increase your FPS😉

Salut, merci pour ton retour. J'ai essayé avec Pure 0.165 et l'image est beaucoup trop lumineuse même en réduisant la luminosité de Pure et de Reshade. J'ai pas réussi à avoir un rendu correct qu'avec Pure 0.155 il faudrait que je repart de zéro avec Reshade et cela me prendrais trop de temps. J'attends une nouvelle version de Pure avec beaucoup plus d'amélioration et là je pense que je referais reshade si la nouvelle version valle le coup😉

Bon, tu gagnes un abonné pour ton attention à tes followers, par contre ne m'en veux pas mais je préfère attendre ton nouveau patch Reshade (s'il voit le jour) car j'ai déjà la dernière version de Pure et j'ai peur de bousiller Assetto Corsa en essayant de repasser à une version antérieure. Et ça me ferait trop mal compte tenu de tout ce que j'ai pu bricoler dessus depuis que je l'ai ^^ mais je vais pouvoir aussi bricoler Reshade de mon côté. Bonne journée !

do you see values when you go to the light tab? if so and they are all grayed out in this case try loading my profile in the "PP filter" tab of Pure if it still does not work you can copy my values using the screenshots that I put in file you downloaded

did you have this problem before installing my preset? if this is a first installation of Pure, I advise you to delete Pure and reinstall it via Peter Boese's .bat included in the Pure folder. Once you have reinstalled Pure check that everything is ok then install my preset

Salut ! je découvre ta chaîne ( beau boulot au passage, excellent de voir en detail les settings etc ... tellement agreable pour les non initiés ) et justement n'ayant jamais moddé sur AC j'ai tenté de reproduire ce que tu fais mais me voilà perdu car après avoir installé Content Manager je vois que toi lorsque tu lance le jeu tu as un menu à droite à 4.34, chose que je ne trouve pas, merci par avance si tu peux m'aider😊

hello, merci et bienvenu sur ma chaine👍 de mémoire il me semble que la barre sur le coté est disponible par défaut, j'ai pas souvenir de devoir l'activer ou autre. Par contre il faut que la résolution de ton jeu sois à la résolution de ton écran sinon tu penses que ta souris est vers la droite de l'écran alors qu'il manque encore une partie des pixels. Est ce que tu joues sur un triple screens ? Je te conseil la version 1.2 de mon mod j'ai mis le lien dans la description de la vidéo. Cette version n'a pas besoin de Reshade et est plus performante

@@stefanismx pour avoir Pure Config dans la barre de droite sois sûr d'avoir sélectioné Pure dans Weather FX il faut lancer Content Manager->Paramètres->Custom Shaders Patch->Weather FX et vérifié que Pure est sélectioné au niveau du Weather script. Tu peux aussi ajouter d'autres options dans la barre de droite dans ce cas il faut lancer Content Manager->Paramètres->Assetto Corsa->Python APPS et cocher les apps que tu souhaites ajouter à la barre

I think it's auto exposure. Open "Pure Config" then go to the "PP" tab select "Hybrid" in "Exposure settings method". Which version of Pure are you using? My AC has so much mods, that if it somehow needs a reinstall, I wouldnt even know where to start putting the mods again. Greatest fear honestly.

if you find that your game is beautiful now and you are a beginner in mods with Pure and reshade then I advise you not to touch it😉

i had an issue when i loaded in game it say there was an error loading in your reshader. i hoverd over the red problem and it says [qUINT_ssr.fx] failed to complete. unrecognized property pls help

to correct this error you must either upgrade to version 5.X.X of Reshade or update the file "qUINT_ssr.fx" or delete it from the folder "assettocorsa eshade-shaders\Shaders". In any case even if it indicates an error of "qUINT_ssr.fx" it is not important because this shader is not used with my preset. I have released other versions in the meantime and you no longer need Reshade. Check my channel😉

For some reason the Pure Config app doesnt show up on the side bar at all not even when i clip apps to show all of them i dont know what ive done wrong as i followed everything correctly and even re-done all the steps to make sure but i dont know why it doesnt show up.

check in the CSP settings -> Weather FX -> and see if you have selected "Pure" in "Weahter Style" I advise you to download my latest version which is 1.3.1, it no longer needs Reshade so the performance is much better kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etqjksqHnq3QdKc.html

I finally tried this PP filter, but I don't understand why and if I must setup Pure the way you did to achieve the same thing. I mean, what's the point of a PP Filter if I have to go through a lot of manual steps in-game? I think manual Pure configs don't scale. If it was importable, then yea. For the time being I tried the filter as-is and it saturates the scene too much, especially when compared to Aegis. I feel the latter is providing a very realistic scene without effort, so I'm currently sticking to that. However, this video did motivate me to deepen my understanding in the AA configs, so now it's looking way better.

which version did you try? because 1.2.1 just needs to load my profile and doesn't need Reshade

@@maximumcustomgames2416 Yea, so I should have replied on your latest video, because I used the latest version 1.2.1, which doesn't include ReShade and tbh, I didn't really want to starting messing around with ReShade either.

I have HDR monitor and when I use your guide everything turns super white, way way too bright, what do I do? disabling alot of effects help but nothing helps disabling the whiteness.. without reshade it looks a lot better. this effect usually happens when I use a software that doesnt support HDR, but asseto doesnt have an HDR toggle..

I also play on a TV with HDR and I have no problem. Windows 11 HDR and auto HDR for non-HDR sources activated, on the other hand, you must not activate the HDR of the games in Content Manager when launching the game, a pop-up from Windows auto HDR is activated and there everything is ok

@@OneLegHD open Content Manager -> settings -> Custom Shaders Patch -> DXGI tab -> you need to check "New DXGI flip model" to be able to check "HDR support" which is just below

Thank you for the tutorial, I have followed the steps, but when I start the game, it always says in the top left corner "ReShade is now installed successfully! Press 'Home' to start the tutorial" There were errors loading some effects, check the log for more details How to fix this?

ignore these errors it's just shaders that need to be updated and you don't need these shaders anyway. Load my preset and normally it's good. However, I recommend my latest version, you no longer need Reshade so the performance is better kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jsWFqaikmrO9oIE.html

to choose the PPfilter you have to open Content Manager -> Settings -> Assetto Corsa -> Video in Video you must have "Filter" and there you must choose my ppfilter but I advise you to take my latest version but you must have Pure and CSP installed before kzfaq.info/get/bejne/la9dfNyiq5jcaH0.html
