😦😦😦😦 Btw Benovich... that's the reaction of a former GPL'er. Been there from almost the beginning, raced in some of the greatest championships (in terms of friendly atmosphere and camaraderie and also top 10% drivers). Stop completely in around 2010... but your and also GPLAPS videos are really pulling me back.

That's an awesome feedback, thanks! I stopped simracing for a couple of years myself, it's funny how quick you get back at it😅. Everything has evolved quite nicely on AC (apart from that AI, really expecting a crazy modder to get his hands on it). AMS2 is not yet as immersive but it should be in the next couple of months, probably my next sim to mod🙂

scary to think these cars in real life were nudging 188mph at this circuit in 67/68. use a higher gear for corners instead of keeping engine near redline while turning. it will settle the car down making the corner smoother, car will be more balanced by nor pushing / understeering on corner exit, and you wont lose so much time changing gears as you are coming out of the corner.

I def agree, but would anyone watch those vids if i was going low gears and smooth as a peach? I think it reinforces immersion and tension, especially against that miserable AI😂. Makes the battle "believable". Or the lack of battles, sometimes... I've seen a trend lately with those vintage cars coming back online a lot, just waiting to get a league on with proper players and make those vids with actual racers : being fast and precise will matter a lot more then! The main goals of those vids is to get more attention to those mods, track/car combos, and to find the best AI fixes, graphic settings and immersive settings. Althought making a cool racing vid is the cherry on the cake, as a retired online league racer i miss the absolute insanity of driving those cars side by side with a proper fellow simracer🙂
