In 2023, The Windward School hosted the LD Schools Leadership Retreat with educators from across the country. At the end of two-day conference, Danielle Scorrano and Jamie Williamson co-hosted the first LEAD on READ interview in front of a live audience with Cheryl Cook . Cheryl is the founding executive director of the Association of LD Schools (ALDS), a formal community for schools that educate students with learning differences like dyslexia.
