That comparison means nothing, just as the list of armies of the world means nothing at all, nor does it show how strong someone is. The entire NATO must not attack one North Korea, which is 30 in the world, or one Iran? Those comparisons are ridiculous!

Most of the armies in Nato countries are NOT in Ukraine fighting Russia, all foreign fighters are volunteers - if any nato country’s actual military gets involved we’d all been nuked to bits by the Russians by now. Ukraine stood for a long time on its own before getting support(equipment only-excluding volunteers) by NATO countries. Thi armamento isn’t even a word in the English dictionary nor is it a term so stop talking BS!! Romania ranked higher in military power before the ukr-russo war, of course only theoretically as we’ve seen the past two years. Only reason Ukraine is no. 18 today is because almost all men over 18 are volunteering in the Ukrainian army which makes the ukr. Military active fighters 900 thousand with 1,3 million reserve. There are 32 countries in Nato, losing America doesn’t make nato unarmed! There are still elite military fighting forces like France, Germany and the United Kingdom. Not to mention how both Finland and Sweden just joined. If even USA left NATO then thereafter declared war on NATO they wouldn’t even come close!! America is overrated as a country in military power, economics and quality. America may be leading in military research but closely followed by rivals such as China. Germany is also very high on the list on Military Research. Hell Germany published the Panther KF51 some few months ago, directly competing the American m1 abrams family. You need to stop watching whatever kind of brainwashing “America is the most technologically advanced country” and “America is better than everyone else if it weren’t for the USA the rest of the world would’ve been dead” type brainwashing. America isn’t even top three most technologically developed countries with Japan in first place closely followed by South Korea.

Interesting video idea. However, the Russian Army equipment numbers aren't taking the Russian war losses in account. In some of those categories the Russian Army would be lucky to have half of those numbers in workable condition. These types of videos base their figures on the Military Balance numbers. The Military Balance figures ignore their wartime losses. The Military Balance also ignore equipment that worn out from age.

If comes to the accuracy of the Military Balance so it's the most accurate when it's released. Let's be honest that currently except countries, which have ongoing war like Russia and Ukraine keeping up with deliveries of new equipment is easy. @@MILITARY-TUBE Oryx consistently undercounds Russian equipment compared Andrew Perputa's numbers. Covert Cabal keeps tracks of Russian tanks +artillery pieces+armored vehicles in storage. Your numbers and Covert Cabal's numbers aren't close. The Russian Army has about 3000 armor vehicles such as BMPs+BTRs+APCs left not counting more useless armor vehicles. 28000 where did that number come from? The Russians are losing about 5 tanks + 10 BMPs, BTRs, APCs combined together per day according Andrew's numbers. The Russian Army reserves numbers that you quoted are mainly guys who have done their required service years ago. Paper organization. How much of the Russian equipment is worn out garbage? If your numbers were somewhat accurate the Russian Army would have destroyed the Ukrainian Army long ago.

Andrew Perputa does the same what Oryx, and Warspotting means he recognizes vehicles from videos and photos found on the X, and the Telegram. If comes to the actual losses, they are bigger than those confirmed on Oryx, Warspoting, and Andrew Perputa's materials, because not everything can be documented on video or photo. Russia has 3 thousand BMPs, BTRs, and APCs but in reserve. Publications like The Military Balance and Covert Cabals videos prove that. However, the recent Kings of General video suggests that Russia currently has no BTRs in reserve. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nZ6Bhsd-p5PNo5c.html Covert Cabal shows the number of equipment left in storage/reserve not overall, which is used by the actual soldiers on the frontline, and by the units stationed in Russia. In simple words, Russia does not withdraw all of its vehicles from Ukraine and puts them in line for a nice satellite photo. Also, no one knows how big percentage of the equipment in the storage is worn out. However the equipment in storage is mostly used to a small extent, and gets broken by the environmental processes of the areas, in which it's stored, it is rain, snow, and low temperatures. Keep in mind that the vehicles shown in Covert Cabal's videos have been stored there since the times of the Soviet Union. The same goes for the readiness of the equipment used by active Russian units. No one knows the percentage of ready-to-used equipment. However in this case the vehicles get worn out mainly because of the usage and enemy actions, not environmental processes. 28 thousand is the overall number of armored vehicles such as BMPs, BMDs, BRMs, BTRs, GAZ Tigrs, IVECO LMVs, BMP-Ts, BRDMs, MT-LBs, Typhoon-Ks, Z-STS Akhmats, GAZ-3937 Vodniks, support vehicles, like BREM, IMR/-2/3 etc. The number, which is below is the number in reserve, in this case, 3900. It came from the Military Balance 2024 and was updated from external links, like Oryx, Warspotting, news from Army Recognition, United24, Wikipedia, Defence24, videos made by Covert Cabal, Kings and Generals, etc. If comes to the Russian "success" in Ukraine so it's not all about the number of equipment, because currently Ukraine has enough resources to defend itself. Enough is to check the list of equipment delivered to Ukraine on Wikipedia to realize that it could arm the whole Europe. It's more about things like tactics, surveillance, and the quality of leadership. The funny thing is that Russia does not have even a numerical advantage in Ukraine. Russia has overall around 700 thousand soldiers in Ukraine involved in the operations on all fronts versus 880 thousand Ukrainian ones. Russia has a lot more than 3 thousand BMPs, BTRs, and other APCs. @@user-uc9ve3ip7lIf Nato were truly at war with Russia, then you'd be fighting inside of Russia instead of Ukraine. The US is sending ammo that is ending its viable usage status, meaning it's at the point where it's beginning to become a liability. Let's say a mortar shell has a dud rate of 1 in 1,000 for its first 5 years, then from 5 to 7 years its 5 in 1,000, that's beyond the acceptable rate for the US. The US will either use them up in training exercises or just give them away when they hit the 5 year. (depending on the variation or type). Iran, North Korea, China have all been supplying Russia with weapons since the early days, Russia has also used its territories to wage war against Ukraine. It's even rumored that North Korea has been sending actual troops now, which is more than any Nato country has done.

Those number are pré-war? Because russian go on chinese golf car and T50 atm insted of BMP and T80. + the air carier no longer in service. The SU57 and the armata don't work. A lot of nucléar warhead din't be updated since 1980 (so probably obsolet at this point). Thx to Ukraine Russia in a minor military power now.

THX for the effort. You got my like. Some things are not acurate... like the russian carier Kuziencow. It burned down and will be scrapped. The same is with rusian hevy machinery & planes, not operational anymore :). There are alsow some major purchasing going on in Europe since the the russian invasion... so we will have to wait until the turmoil is over.

The European NATO countries combined totally outgun Russia, that's for sure; and Russia is the only even remotely realistic military threat to Europe. This is even before we consider that Russia can only deploy a fairly small part of its military in a hypothetical (I hope) war in Europe. It also has to watch it back in case some of its Asian neighbors decides to take advantage of the situation. There are a few problems that don't show up in these statistics though. One is that we can't be absolutely sure all the European nations will stand together. There are two in particular that are only 99% trusted and one of them happens to have one of the largest military forces in Europe. Also, Russia is already fighting a "hybrid war" in Europe, spending quite a lot of time and money undermining European governments and they've had some success. They even managed to get one of their useful idiots installed as the British Prime Minister for a while. The biggest problem the European NATO countries face though, is that they don't really have enough ammunition in store for a prolonged war. Even the most advanced weapon systems are useless if they don't have anything that goes boom to throw at the enemy. They are working on it but it'll take a few years to get the production capacity up to the level it should be.

Russia still has millions and millions of fighting aged citizens they can call upon. Has History taught you ANYTHING about the way Russia and the former Soviet Union fight their wars? In its entire military existence in the 20th and 21st century, the Russians have only ever lost a single conflict, a conflict that NATO member states themselves lost also and that is in Afghanistan.

More reliable are the satellite photos showing how drained are russian reserves, even if we add the new produced weaponry - bu regarding armored vehicles, MBT, IFV, APC, they're loosing more everyday than they can produce - in due ratio, of course (production/losses per month, quarter, semester...). Not even speaking how russia could have lost 4% of his total male demographics. Let's see who can keep up with productive industry, that that feeds economy with income, and war economy simultaneous

Because most European countries are rather small with a fairly low population and each on their own has limited resouces. We prefer it that way in Europe. Most of the time each tend to their own house and then we call on our neighbours when something big needs to be done.

NATO attacked illegally and used all they can but couldn't harm Serbian army. Then they start bombing with depleted uranium, attacking bridges, buses, trains, TV, hospitals, residential areas with cluster bombs, electrical power infrastructure, gas stations...killing civilians, kids in their homes while attacking independent UN country, violating country UN borders and violating UN charters... It showed how NATO is bunch of cowards, criminals and how powerless they are. Serbia is much smaller country than Ukraine (7× smaller) and had much less weapons, no sophisticated weapons at all. No help from any side. NATO also is bigger and richer than Russia but showed more criminal and violent but also as bigger cowards and incompetent, weak against much weaker opponent than Ukraine...weaker on papers, statistics...now compare those two. It was recently, 25 years ago and it still lasts with one shape of NATO occupation inside of Serbian UN borders. World is changing. NATO must be shut down and we have plans, buying weapons, train hard to attack NATO in one moment. Hope it will fall apart before it but if not...we will have to do it. If you ask people here, many of us want to attack NATO right now, not to wait any more agreements westerners will not respect those documents anyway.

It got built in Portsmouth and came up to Glasgow for its naming. It done its sea trials down in Portsmouth so it is already out there.

Also if comes to ships, they are build in a couple stages, and one of them is building the hull, which has to be buoyant. Later the hardest and longest part is to outfit "the hull" with all electronic and weapon systems. Brasil is getting closer to NATO, wanting to sell them Embraer KC-390 Transport/refuel Jets and propeller light attack planes like the A29 Super Tucano N (stands for NATO, reason those are being built in Portugal... guess why) for CAS and Reconnaissance, India just dropped the bid for Russian planes and bought French Rafale, SIG 716 for special and frontier units instead of AK's, and much more small weapons from western countries, so not even as a commercial alliance things are going great, also with India buying Russian Oil underpriced and China wanting to pay for russian gas the same as russians pay; South Africa left the conversation, Russia is a mess, Iran continues the trend of losing new ships, with another one capsized inside wet docks!!!! NATO needs USA for providing nuclear detergent. The alternative would be for European countries to build their own nuclear weapons and *nobody* wants that to happen. And of course, although the European NATO countries should be able to repell a Russian invasion on their own, more power will make it quicker and less costly. And if you think USA doesn't need NATO, so far it is the only country that has asked for help from the other members in an actual armed conflict. With that being said, there is no need for USA to spend much resources on NATO in peacetime and it doesn't spend much either. There are only about 70,000-90,000 US troops stationed in Europe, including the units that operate in the Middle East from European bases, and even that may be a bit more than necessary. What matters, is the detergent it can provide and the reserves it can send if a war breaks out.

BMP-1s and all of its variants like BMP-1AMs and ex-Georgian BMP-1Us are counted in. Currently Russia has 12x BMP-1Us, and around 700x BMP-1/-1AM in active service. Furthermore they have around 1,300 BMP-1s in reserve. If comes to the M113s so they are actively used by for example Greece, and Portugal.

We do have some, but on the frontlines we use our Pandur II and not the M113 of which many went to Ukraine as military aid, as we're phasing them out completely. Also SCAR L STD are used in the army only (including tier 2 commandos and paratroopers), Navy still uses the HK-G3, many with spuhr kits and aim point devices like the army FN SCAR L (which are complement with troops with SCAR H STD also, but in smaller numbers). Air force land component uses HK G36 while tier 2 units use CZ BREN 2 (phasing out the G-36) and JSOCs use HK-416 complemented with HK-417.

Portugal has donated 45 out of its 190 M113 to Ukraine. Furthermore, they have added to that 2 out of 49 M577. If it comes to mortars so Portugal has: 2x M125A1; 10x M125A2 ; 3x M106A1; 15x M106A2. There are also some in the "tank destroyer" variant, mainly: 17x M113 with TOW, and 4x M901 with TOW. If it comes to the SCAR, when choosing the primary battle rifle I've decided to use the "Army" as an example, because it's the best indicator and it's the biggest out of all branches. The Air Force and Navy (with the exception of the Marines or for example AGRUMERG) do not need cutting-edge rifles, so in many countries, they are using everything that the army has spare. It's true if it comes to Portugal and for example Poland. Despite that we have assault rifles, such as FB MSBS Grot or Beryl, when I was training with the Navy in 2021 I was armed with an AKMS :)

They're being phased out and are seen as death traps. they're only, with few exception I mentioned, as death traps and are not used in front lines, for that we use the Pandur II 8x8, platform we are also investing in to obtain more units. At least do have a practical knowledge of what you're conveying, as excel spreadsheets anyone can read and make but they lack qualitative information - as you also do as your statements are an example.

According to Covert Cabal's video which was released yesterday (on July 6th,2024), this number dropped to around 2500 usable tanks. Jak 130 je cvičný stroj s možností použití jako lehký bitevník, rozhodně není bojové letadlo jako F-16, Himars v roli MLRS (ne ATACSM to je jiná kategorie zbraní, na to má Rusko Iskander opět lepší než ATACSM) není lepší než Tornado-S a počty tanků také naprosto nesedí, dál nemá cenu komentovat, video naprosto o ničem ani jsem to nedokoukal.

I have to wonder what the point is of this video. Surely it is not a surprise NATO (excl. USA) COULD beat Russia in a fight, the main issue is political will. Russia can single-mindedly focus on war at the cost of all other sectors in Russia, the rest of NATO cannot.

my guess is you didnt deduct the Russian tank losses in Ukraine which also includes several of their ships and also NATO seems to still be using alot of American equipment like the Himars and F-16s.

Hi, first of all, NATO is not fighting in Ukraine, at least for now. Secondly, Ukraine currently operates no F-16s. They will be delivered later this year. I've deducted all Russian losses from Ukraine. To do that, I've used Oryx and Warspotting.

@@MILITARY-TUBE the rumors ive heard must not be true then about some NATO troops have been spotted in Ukraine but they aint fighting yet and Ukraine does have a few of our F-16 now but they aint flying them yet

One thing that wasnt mentioned like "mandatory service" was mentioned is *how many of "NATO" countires have kids in school speed dissassemble and assemble their country weapon with basic weapon training (shoot with BB gun yes but still learn of aim) and learn stuff about Civil Defense* I think this is also plays a lot in terms of "power", since if you take person who never hold a grenade and played games and take person who threw atleast one grenade during his mandatory service or a kid who was teached with practice grenade. One of them will be highly suprised that grenade needs to be holded tightly after pulling a pin. And even more suprised when they realize their hand is missing after they heard "pop" and decided to "cook grenade". And suprise suprise its most likely be not the kid, and not person who served. Maybe i'm wrong feel free to correct and inform me i will be really thankfull! But last time i spoke with Germans and UK friends i have they said that schools cared more for some "gender ideology" stuff than something like CD or Basic Weapon training.

I hope that will never start. But understand if war between Russia and Europe will acure. It will be with no mercy. You think Russia dont have ability's to make Ukraine look like Gaza? Russians wont have mercy for Europeans as for Ukranians. Dont talk about conventional weapons,its getting strategic.
