Body shaming is never a joke. ഞാനും 90'സത്യം born ആണ്. പക്ഷെ body shaming ഒരുപാട് മാനസികമായി തകർത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. ചില ഡ്രസ്സ്‌ ഇടുമ്പോൾ, ചില സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒക്കെ വല്ലാണ്ട് അങ്ങ് ഇല്ലാണ്ടായി പോയ പോലെ തോന്നാറുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ suicide. Im a Psychologist. ഓരോരുത്തർക്കും ഓരോ മെന്റൽ strength ആയിരിക്കും. Physically നമ്മൾ different ആണെന്ന് പറയുന്നത് പോലെ തന്നെ. അതുകൊണ്ട് strength ഇല്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ടാണെന്നു പറയുന്നതിനോടും യോജിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല. Suicide and body shaming is not a joke. നമുക്ക് ചെറുത് ആയിരിക്കും പക്ഷെ അവരുടെ മനസ്സിൽ അത് അങ്ങനെയാവില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് പലരും ചില സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോയത് കൊണ്ട് Mental disorders develop ചെയുന്നത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് please dont normalise these things🥰.

I absolutely agree with jeeva..we were all subjected to so called body shaming,, humiliation by teachers, punishments , mocked at our communication skills etc...but we overcame that..not saying tht we dint feel bad abt it then,, but we overcame that and that is the reason y inspite of so many personal n official problems we still manage to stay cool n overcome it...now a days kids are so pampered and spoilt that a simple no for an answer , thy commit suicides...their mind has become very fragile with these sort of pampering..

Your videos are great and enjoyable.. but what Jeeva said today about body shaming is not justifiable. We can’t normalize body shaming merely as a fun among friends since the so called “silly jokes” can traumatize individuals lifelong. Being a victim of such a shaming, I still feel the pain.

Jeeva, please don't glorify humiliating someone. I have a living example in my family - my sister. She is 27 and still underconfident in many ways even after achieving so much in her life. The humiliations she suffered as a kid still affects her. I tried a lot to build confidence in her. But she is still ashamed of her body, skin tone and her communication skills.

I love your videos and I am a regular watcher. But I can never agree with what you said about body shaming. Body shaming is never acceptable and only people who have experienced it will understand it. In fact, most of the time bullying and body shaming negatively impacts a child's confidence and mental health. I understand some may gain mental strength from it but not all people are resilient. I know adults who still face confidence issues because of the body shaming they experienced in their childhood. So it's important that we create a society where everyone feels accepted and respected.
