The power scaling broke when the Dark Triad and their disciples came onto the scene.

I think this is the first time in a long while that Asta has defeated someone without using Devil Union or his black form.

Crazy how Asta from being someone who's only strong physically and had to rely on others to being someone who can (theoretically) beat the King of Hell Single handedly.

I think it makes sense that asta gets strong so fast he's been training his whole life and has had great teachers while also being incredibly hard-working it's like asta took that phrase work smarter not harder and decided to do both at the same time.

I really like the upgrade, in the End of the series I would like to see Asta saving someone like Wizard King did with him, and say similar words I think they were "If you really want to be the next wizard King, this is just a tiny bit of a fraction of power you have surpass" that moment in the anime gave me chills, but now Asta can do that for the next generation and the best thing is that he will do that in base dorm (I used to think that he would have to transform every time, so glad to be wrong).

I'm a fan of Black Clover so I'm really tired that people complain about Anti-Magic being a lazy solution for everything. The Anti-Magic warrant may seem overpowered at first but it needed a strong body and willpower to make the most use of it. Something Asta already had when he received his grimoir. Asta can leran anything that isn't related to magic. Now he's a master swordsman and can manifest a sort of anti-mana zone. That's how far he refined it. I think we can all agree that Asta will be the strongest even outside the clover kingdom in the end. The main cast held it rather low during the last timeskip. Yes, there were some low ranking devils roaming around but nothing too serious. Until Lucius sudden apparence Asta and Yuno weren't slacking off in the slightest. They are still preparing for their duel in the end. Lucius specially targeted both. I just wished that not only Ichika but all of the Ryuzen 7 ( or at least Yosuga) would have gone with Asta to the clover kingdom. They would have cleaned the house. Ichika also must have gotten stronger in the last week. I can imagine Ichika with Asta or Yami to be very compatible in a tag team fight.

I dont think Asta is done with the powerups. This feels A LOT like the leadup to Luffy vs Kaido. Where the protag goes in having just learned a new technique. It's good but not enough to finish the job. So over the course of the fight he gains 2 major powerups that are enough to push him over the edge. It's a pretty shounen thing to do when it comes to stakes. Dragonball also did this with Goku vs Frieza(the first one). So I'm anticipating it being revealed that Asta is a Devil Hybrid sometime during the fight. That'll be his super saiyan moment. Plus Asta should get one more sword. There isn't any complex reason for that other than the fact that he only has 4 swords right now. And the Devil is symbolized by 5 so I think it'd be really fitting if he still had one more 5th and final sword coming.

Im impressed that Asta was able to create a zone of anti magic to just negate and destroy the air magic around him the current chapter shows that once again Asta can do what other mages can do but either in his own way or the opposite regarding anti magic what he did he using a anti magic version of dark moon and Yuno spell with his star magic to negate the effects of the magic around him

You see this video, we need more scalers like you who just uses the context of the manga to scale. Other scalers try to downplaying or try to wank asta with using the context. Really appreciate this video on how you show how crazy strong asta is and is getting.

I might be completely wrong, but wasn’t it stated somewhere that devil power increases exponentially and not linearly. In which case a 100 percent lucifiero would be way stronger than just 2x 50 percent Lucifero.

At first I i had an issue with the power scaling in this new chapter but now I think it gave us a great way to gauge how strong zetten is compared to your base stats. Asta realistically would need du against damnatio(which he cant always use because of the time limit) but now he can use something that has comparable power, hard counters the paladins, and can he used in base or really any form he wants, now I do hope damnatio isn't actually defeated here since he was the first to become a paladin and he was one of the ones I wished got the most screen time especially since weve seen very little of atmosphere magic

This is unfortunately why I worry about the rest of the series. I get that it's possible to get rapidly stronger and all; but it feels like alot of these scaling moments comes down to what I'd like to call "Plot growth". Basically when a character goes from point A to point B in the span of literal seconds because of plot. Again, I know characters can grow stronger over time, and Asta clearly has a high growth rate. But it honestly feels too plot heavy when PDU Asta was struggling with Base Yosuga (or whatever that chad's name is), to being able to fight on par with him after a few training sessions. Or going back to the spade saga, Asta in base performing "feats" such as him coming in clutch for Noelle and co. during the battle against Megicula and devil Loropechika. This resulting in people like Broku scaling base Asta higher than his initial devil union which feels way too fast even for Asta and Black Clover as a whole. Hence, my "plot growth" point. These crazy numbers mostly comes down to this plot growth and really messes with the scaling. Ik you said you don't care if we think your numbers are crazy. I'm not completely against it, more so just against how quickly these characters grow in power in moments that feels very forced or convinent via plot. Sorry for spouting out BS, I'm not the best at expressing my thoughts on this matter. It applies to most shounen as well. I love Black Clover yet there are some many gripes I have with it as well. What if she named Asta after her father the time devil and she didn't know about. That'd then make sense that she didn't kill Lucius

I am honestly am just fatigued of the no limits power progression system these days. It's just getting repetitious with little foundational substance or supporting consistency and logical bases of it's implications. It's why these days I have grown to dislike highballing and implications where there are no consistent setting parameters and factors limiting power progression growth to the living inhabitants of a created world. No retraints or penalties to growing too strong in too little time and where there is no rate of fatigue and physical constraints that can't be breached due to just simple established laws of creation just gets tiring. I have been disillusioned by this modern popular trend. If I ever do writing and worldbuilding I won't be doing that.

One thing which could kinda remedy the situation is the fact that Asta didn't get stronger physically, or that his antimagic grew stronger, it's simply the fact that he got better at using it. We've always known that mana is not necessarily the deciding factor in who wins, the way you use your magic matters too, which is how Dante was beaten by Magna. How this applies zo Asta and Zetten is not that he has gotten "stronger" per say, it's just that he's gotten more skilled at using the power that was already there. Zetten is just a convenient way for him to be able to compete without needing to use his other forms, which drain his anti magic. Without the use of zetten, he would not be able to beat many of the stronger enemies like damnatio without almost dying.

People: Asta can't grow that much in a week Me: Would you like me to list examples? Like when Asta went from only fighting 80% Dante to bodying him in just 2 days of training

The thing about him fighting damatio that im iffy about thst you didnt mention. Damnatio has the Supreme devil baal who in the hierarchy of the Supreme devil's is weaker than bealzebub who was within sister lily. So it would make sense that asta didnt transform against Damnatio. Also why do i want to see asta start replicating everyone elses spells with anti magic. I think it would be really cool if he started controlling the blackbull house but with anti magic and shows up in the clover kingdom. With the flying bull and maybe with the eyes being a redish black being that its powered by anti magic

I would actually like to say that you did make a mistake in your video. The Paladin Asta beat in the Hino Country (Yrul) had two magic types, fear and beast. The panel after Asta breaks the Fear Magic shows him using Beast Magic: Holy Hunting Ground.

my paladin ranking: 1: Lucius (self explainable) 2: Lily (the reason she is higher than damnatio is because she had a stronger devil supporting her paladi form aka beelzebub, and beelzebub > Baal, which was the devil from damnatio) 3: Damnatio 4: Moris/Acier/Morgen (we havent seen their power in full extent, although you can say morris is the stronger of the 3 because his modification magic is broken asf) 5: Yrul (the reason he is higher than heath is because Yosuga said Asta > himself and yrul stated that 1 hit would be enough to take down asta [i just realised that that scales way higher than lucifero) 6: Heath (got beaten up by yosuga, as he couldnt do anything if i remeber right)
