I kinda like how the 3 lords resemble the big 3 of classic horror (Werewolf, Frankenstein's Monster and Dracula).

@ It'd make sense, considering it's called Sunbreak. At least the name makes sense for me now. And yeah, Castlevania collab would be amazing, but I really don't see it happening, sadly.

@@Xzeros the Golem myth is often believed to have been an inspiration for Frankenstein. And like how Bishaten's design has roots with both Tengu and the folktale about "The crab and the monkey", this design could also be borrowing from multiple sources

I like the medieval theme in this expansion. I like the monsters sort of related to 'horror' theme: vampire, werewolf, Frankenstein's monster for the Lords. I guess the subspecies bishatan could be like jack-o-lantern with the exploding looking pine cones (pumpkins) to match with the 'horror' theme. Very excited for new gameplay mechanics in the expansion. Probably a small minority but I would like the return of underwater battles but improved swimming mechanics. Highly doubt it's going to happen though. :/

Seregious is cool to fight, bleeding status is lethal, but the weapon is really good. I want the most is the Magalas from 4U. So awesome with their status. Same goes with Brachydios.

Dalamadur would be super nice too with the added mobility of rise.

Rudy is slowly but surely becoming one of us. The fact that he has the hype man while watching the trailer the first time says it all. Until Astalos of course.

The layered armor on amiibo on rise was different on the armor you can craft from Magnamalo. So I guess the amiibo in Sunbreak would be different too. I'll be getting them all.

I'm so hyped to fight Lunagaron after discovering what it does. The only monster that stands on it's hind legs to fight is Fatalis, and it is such a different monster in comparison to Luna

since the monster hunter games with g rank in them werent as popular or known in the west as the ones without they went with master rank instead or atleast that's what I thought the reason was, thats also why its masters in mhwI

I have only faced 2 of the fated four Glavenus in world Mizutsune in rise And now im facin astalos in sunbreak...now give me gammoth

i really hope they bring back the diversity of the 4th gen, we want crabs, snake, more spider, more monkey and Toad also. some giant monster like dalamadur and gogmazios would be nice too with the added mobility et verticality.

Im the only one who got annoyed of the narrator voice? The pauses and stuff, its clearly he was JUST reading a text.. I mean he could have put some more ... "emotion" on the infos instead of the monotone reading. That aside, the event image from base rise shows a quest agains 4 Rajangs at the same time? Why would u do that? Why suffer? 🤔
