I checked how two of Astarion's dialogues will change if you don't let him bite you. Watch the conversation with him after the bite scene and the conversation about how the blood of other companions would taste, which I colloquially call "You were my first" 😉 Enjoy!

That is the reason I put a bell on my cat. She likes to lunge at me in the dark and the jingle gives me a split second to pull the covers up in defense.

@@ShandoraTheExplorer You mean the scene where Astarion dreams about Cazador? Unfortunately, when I played Astarion origin I didn't have it, but I think it's because I gave away Astarion's vampirism right at the beginning of the game by biting someone in combat.

thanks for this. I can't stop doing Durge runs, since it means Durge is dead ;_; ... and I haven't yet figured out how to justify Durge not indulging his request. So, legit I would never see these differences on my own.

Oh yeah, playing as Dark Urge it's definitely harder to justify why you wouldn't let Astarion give you a bite. Blood is Durge's thing, after all.

Astarion bit me against my will. I barely survived. Still got the same dialogue discussing how our companions would taste, btw.

You mean you let Astarion bite you and then while he was drinking your blood the dice rolled wrong and he overindulged? Astarion will always try to talk to you like other companions would taste, the difference is how he starts this conversation.

@@Fairbrooke yes. you are right. It was a while ago.. I believe I did let him bite me, but I could not stop him. poor dice rolls.
