Aura is one of my favorite Iems of all time! Happy you got to experience it sajid :) The midrange really is something special 🎶 The Sony W1aZm2 is a match made in heaven 🔥 hope to see you at a canjam soon bud 🤙 Also shout out to Andrew at music tech !! Thank you for your review Amid, this IEM deserves some spotlight :D I own the Aura and Jewel and Trifecta, but don't fully experience what you do. To me the Aura has deeper bass, harder slam than de Jewel, and is to my ears definitely not bright. I use it with the specially created EE Audio Chiron Nova cable and eltech bartoc tips. Where I hear acoustic guitar on the Jewel, its a little cold. I can hear everything from pluks to vibration (reverd, w/e my ear moves haha). But it does not sound "natural". While the Aura sounds a lot warmer and more to how the instrument would sound in real life to me. Because of that warmth, Aura feels bassier than the Jewel (non-eq ofc) to me. Like you mention they share the saem resolution, but due to the cold/warmth difference its really a different flavour. Compared to the Trifecta the Aura has like mentioned lushed mids, as its its forte. Trifecta also has a way bigger sound-stage. I do think Aura leaves Trifecta far in the dust when it comes to separation and imaging. But these IEM's are also, so very different. So what im trying to convey, is that in my experience (every ear is different) Aura has great bass, better than Jewel. Its slightly warm but very life like sounding. Is average in soundstage, but great in picking out audio-tracks in a song. To my ears does not have treble spikes and is ofc. very very good in the mids. The only gripe I might actually have with it, is that its a limited edition. To me its the best VE launch yet.

Posiadam Astell & Kern Aura 🏆są to moje najlepsze monitory douszne jakie posiadam w swojej kolekcji 10 sztuk 🤫rozbiłem bank by wydobyć moje oszczędności i kupić limitowaną Aurę ,podobno jest tylko 650 sztuk na świecie 😮🌍,posiada 11 przetworników 😲używam Aurę z odtwarzaczem osobistym Astell & Kern Kann Alfa + Astell & Kern PA10 ( wzmacniacz klasy 🅰️),polecam b.dobry zakup ,po nich mam smak na hybrydy i kupiłem ostatnio Meze Penta 💚z 5 przetwornikami ,też mi się b.podobaja i są na 9 pozycji przez Campfire Ara z 7 przetwornikami 📝💙

How do the mids compare to the Mentor and V3? The treble energy worries me and probably wouldn't buy these blind. Thank you for the review.

Heard it on Amsterdam meet-up, a very nice IEM, lacked the holography of many other though. To me the treble was a nope but I already disliked Jewel. Btw interesting that you found the bass on jewel more prominent, it was absolutely anemic to my ear no matter which tip I took. Really underwhelming IEM, very neutral, but absolutely lifeless aswell. I thought Aura had a lot of tactility though. Mids-wise, I prefer Mentor and Trailli by far, Aura is not in the same league imho.

I disagree Auras midrange is extremely engaging along side / surpassing mentor and trading blows with traillii

@@theodorezurla496 Its has more energy than Mentor and Trailli. Technicalities-wise its not even close to be honest. I can see how one can prefer Aura though, if you mainly listen to rock and metal.

I respect your opinion, but I’m not sure where you’re getting “technicalities” from because in terms of resolution Aura is right there with mentor / traillii and I loved the bird and mentor but when I did my comparisons Aura pulled ahead in midrange and other categories .. all Incredible iems though can’t go wrong with any as Endgame.. it’s all preference at the end of the day

@@theodorezurla496 Probably the pairing or different genres we listen to and preference for more energetic tuning. Traillii and Mentor midrange are legendary for a reason, barely anyone mentions Aura midrange in the community. There is simply a different level of the depth, note weight and texture on the Mentor and Trailli in the mids. In any case if you enjoy Aura more, who am I to disagree, it’s all about the fun you personally have with your gear.

@@amaya897 exactly it’s all about what you like and I personally know a lot of people in the community that vastly prefer Aura over mentor .. traillii and aura I could be happy with either, traillii being more relaxed and aura having more energy.. but there is a sweetness to the auras midrange that presents vocals in a very visual like manner
