It is Interesting that in creating a commercial with beautiful images from incredible camera technology when the one thing they forgot to add was the incredible noise that the Aston makes. Perhaps it has been done that way for a purpose, or perhaps the Aston doesn't sound any good. Are we selling a car here or are we selling the clothes? Perhaps whats more interesting is that in the end you hear a noise of a double decker bus and not a single noise from the car. If you were to close your eyes the fancy editing, transition swipes, beautiful camerawork, the grade, the handsome man and his endless jackets would all disappear. The only thing that would remain is the sound, the music and the roar that engine would make you feel. Interesting they left that out when the director said its all about the attention of detail. Very interesting!

They are not selling just a car, they are selling 'the car' to 'the audience', this car is not for commoners like you and me, this is for the kind of crowd that lives the way this ad is depicting. First rule of marketing, 'Appeal to Your Audience'. If you want to hear sounds, see Ford or Dodge ads or may be lower end BMW's and Mercedes Benz's....
