the car isn't designed to do that. it's a piece of art. It's no wonder Richard Hammond would still take the 'drama' of a Pagani Zonda over the refined nature of a Veyron. Crazy? Get Oversteer, get Rear wheel drive. Obsessed with how well you can take a corner in any conditions? Then get an AWD. The purpose of this car has gone straight over your head.

Everyday meaning the car has AWD and is able to cope with more road and weather conditions than a car with two wheel drive and yes it is everyday. The Veryron is not only considered an everyday car but it is one of the few cars that exceed the build quality of many others. Example: It can be driven in to the ground everyday with that second speedier mode. Other cars will break down after awhile but no the Veyron-they really did their homework on it.

those cars are not made to be bought .. are made to make ppl dreaming .. and dreaming is not bad if makes you feel good .. dont mix dream and reality :) just enjoy your dreams :)

depends on the service my friend. oil change...ha, no standard features here. the designers make it as hard as possible to "do it yourself", lol also syn is a deff for the car. they recomend 5w20-5-10 haha if you can find it they make for the car in their factory, god knows how much it would be for anything else. custom machines are a must.

@kosseh RU kidding? They don't race the enzo, its a show pony. Ulrich Bez himself raced a virtually stock AM V8 with a co driver in the 24 hour race at Nurburgring and finished 24th out of 220 cars in all classes. They raced in the 24 hours at Bahrain in 06 also and the car only needed to change tires, brake pads, and gas and finished 8th overall beating out purpose built prototype chassis racecars. Aston Martin races the new Rapide 4 door in the ALMS. They're only and all about performance.

Aston has, especially lately, been more of luxury than pure speed or handling. They are extremely fast luxury cars. There is very little luxury in an Enzo for example.

@CHARLIETWW Honestly i couldn't agree with you more, it just looks like its trying too hard. It makes me think if they got some TVR designers to help them or they just resorted to using an axe. Take out the TVR vents and this would make a beautiful car.

u miss the point, its designed to be dramatic- awd isn't 'dramatic'. RWD is the true calling for a hypercar

Well I know that but I'm talking from a practical view. AWD can be driven everyday in all seasons and more road conditions than RWD. Who said AWD isn't dramatic? The Veyron and some Lambos are not dramatic???

Uh...No it has'nt! If you read my comments carefully I'm simply choosing from a practical view. I'm not dismissing it's aesthetic purpose and all around purpose, especially that RWD's tend to be more fun or the way RWD fits into the design scope of the vehicle. Yes it's a dramatic car and RWD is the epitome of drama especially when turning a corner at high speed but I'm simply saying AWD is the only reason the Veyron would be my first purchase, the One-77 my second . Veyron is an everyday car.

That's a very sad day for engineering and a very happy day for design. It's a car with a "FORM over FUNCTION" statement in every single component ! Why would I want a car that LOOKS like a million pounds and DRIVES like a car that's 1/10th its' price ??? That's a car "for the ladies" ...

Well, I' ll bet it can't go around the Nurburg Ring faster than the Nissan GTR which costs less than one door of this pornography on wheels. I certainly don't know how it drives like, but I have a brain and I can use it. You can't build a car that drives like a true supercar (like an Enzo, Zonda, Veyron, GT3, McLaren F1 etc), by starting with this : "Hm I wonder how should I build a car that LOOKS like a piece of art".

The ugliest super car, ever. Epic failure. Overly designed from inside and out. The side vents of the from bumper is the worst part. The rear light? The side air vents on the door? The overall shape is fantastic, but the details just don't add up to its price. What the hxxx were Aston martin's designers thinking? In addition, its engine note is also very noisy and sounds very cheap.
