@@jonathanrex looking at the Rapide brochure, that’s a cool and rare color! The really cool white color they depict throughout the brochure is Morning Frost White. It looks to be a true pearl color with 3D level of depth. That would be my number #1 choice, although I have come to love Volcano Red. It makes the car look ridiculously otherworldly and never fails to put a stupid grin on my face.

@@sidelnie Hahaha... good one! 😀 When I ordered my Rapide in 2014 white wasn't yet so fashionable with Astons. Back then I also associated the model more with a business vehicle being a little larger and perhaps shouldn't be too flashy. Now I see it also differently. In red or white, the Rapide looks very confident!

@@jonathanrex Wow, that’s long time ownership! How many miles are on yours and what’s next for you? I am keeping mine for a long time since I am only a little more than 1 year in. When my daughter is older I will probably add a Vanquish to the stable (in 3-4 years).

@@sidelnie Driving a Vanquish or DBS next to the Rapide sounds like the ultimate dream to me, although you have already reached the top with a Rapide in Volcano. My Rapide S now has around 43,000 miles on the clock and still looks immaculate. As my second Aston, I have a Rapide AMR in Scintilla Silver (mileage around 7'000, no signature linings), for which I originally planned to trade in for the Rapide S. In the end, however, I couldn't bring myself to let the Rapide S go, even though my wife put a lot of pressure on me. That possibly makes me one of the very few owning 2 4-doors (which I admit probably makes little sense ;-)). As soon as my children no longer fit in the back, I'll try to trade in the Rapide S if "circumstances" allow me then to do so.

You're right, not in the Rapides. Soon after the newer V12 models, however, came from AMG (most unfortunately). No more naturally aspirated. The V8 (4l) as well as the V12 (5,2l) with bi-turbo's are from AMG. Reliable and good engines, but just not as cultivated.

@@jonathanrex the 5.2 v12 biturbo is also not related to amg. Amg only delivers the v8 Sadly the v12 will also discontinued

@@trazyntheinfinite Thank you. I didn't expect Aston to produce a turbo engine while their co-operation with AMG was underway, but you're absolutely right. Sorry for my previous post.

@@jonathanrex haha no need for sorry We are all here because we love great cars👌🏾 The Development of that v12 was before they found an agreement if i remember it correctly And the amg v12 is really old techwise

@@trazyntheinfinite You're absolutely right. I am a great enthusiast of the V12's. After it was explained to me that I would have one last opportunity for a naturally aspirated V12, I ordered the Rapide AMR in addition to the Rapide S, which was getting on in years. After that, I found the Mercedes co-operation very difficult. The taxi look in an Aston doesn't work for me at all. The DB12 seems to have made the leap into the present, if only it weren't for that engine....
