I owned and loved a 2003 (non S) Vanquish. It had many quirks, like the 'manual' auto/paddle gear box (which was SO much fun when you worked out what the burning clutch smell was and why). Some dubious Ford bin parts too. Although the later Vs are very attractive there was something unmatched for me aesthetically compared to the one I owned. It was very brutish and aggressive looking. One instant signifier that helped to my eye was the rear side window converging to a point which created an aggressive streamlined look. I didn't see this on other AMs that mainly squared them off. Even this V tails into a large chrome piece. I can tell my model V in 1 second by looking at that window point. Very few made, future classic. I would sit in the garage, tail pipe near the rear wall and just rev it. Awesome.
