Im a Villa fan and will admit Villa were lucky not to lose that. Im on the fence about the disallowed goal, whilst i can understand Chelseas frustrations, the Chelsea player who pushed Carlos had no intention of playing the ball, that was clear. Had he tried to win rather than just push Carlos out of the way, Chelsea win.

As a chelsea fan, i dont think it was a goal, looked like a foult o me all day long I didn't even celebrate when it went in. However, the rest of the game was absolutely riddled with the worst decisions I've ever seen as a football fan. The icing on the cake was cole palmer winning the ball in the Villa box completely and utterly cleanly and the ref not hesitating to blow. Never believed in any kind of football corruption but today looked to unfair to just be incompetence. I hope the referee is embarrassed either way

Ref sees it in real time perfectly, deems contact not worthy of a foul. That should be the end of it. Re-refereeing matches isn't what VAR was meant for. Once again an on-field ref has zero courage to embarrass the VAR and stick with his original decision. Grow a pair, referees.

I think its rubbish. It is a foul. Watch the replay the ball was going to fall on Carlos' head. The refs have been inconsistent in giving these and its their fault persons don't think its a foul. If its not a foul, as a set piece coach my players would be using their shoulders to push the opponrnts out of the way.

Neutral here. 100% a foul. Can’t believe the ref didn’t give it. If the Chelsea player didn’t PUSH Carlos in the back, he would have headed it clear. It’s possibly the most obvious foul ever. VAR did its job because the ref didn’t do his job.
