Brilliant! See it just goes to show that with good leadership you can work wonders. I've heard a lot of comments re Alan Hutton being too old/not good enough etc. but Sunday showed his desire and passion to score that goal. You can train players you are not natural "stars" to improve their performance if you have the right approach. I've never seen a man look so proud after scoring a goal!

Absolutely nailed it, we were poor first half till the 2 goals, but as you say credit to city they didn't stop and still got another, and I myself always moan about Alan Hutton, can't tackle anyone, but what a solo performance from the half way line to pile thru and score, well done Hutton, gone up in my estimations, and well done to all the villa lads who made it such a entertaining local Derby with the best outcome,3 points for villa 😀

What a win today boys. 4-2 was a crazy result. Jackie boys goal was beautiful and I loved seeing Jimmy Danger back on the goal trail.. After the noses went in front I was sad to hear abuse being thrown at the players. I know it's frustrating when u pay ur money every week but I believe that Deano has the players believing in the philosophy and we now believe we can win games from behind. Local derby's are always tough but to be so bad and still get a great result and score four goals shows how much Dean Smith's style, philosophy if u want to call it that, is now bearing fruit. I mean come on look at Alan Hutton going missing for their 2nd goal but to then make a run and score a peach like he did is unheard of. I think this shows us all that Smith is finally getting the players to buy into his way of playing. A few months back we'd have lost that game because we would have sat back one we either equalised or went ahead and Bruce's tactics, if u could call them tactics, would've cost us a fame we should be winning with ease. OK so we didn't play well today but if we can score 4 against a team on the up, the noses, small heath,, blue noses, haha! only buzzin' mate, but if we can beat this Brum side who have improved immeasurably under Gary Monk while playing really bad then think of what we can achieve when we really click as a unit With all that said I still think we will slip up during this season because it's a steep learning curve for the players after 2 years of Bruce and his park the bus shit. For the record I thought Bruce did a decent job of bringing the heart and soul back to our club and he was central to the fans having a great relationship with our players. He deserves a hell of a lot of credit for that. Nobody should underestimate the power of having the supporters on your side and we were there through thick and thin last season but we needed the change to take the club forward and Dean Smith was a very clever appointment by the owners. The players look very fit now. They are showing that they believe in what Smith's trying to do and that's only going to be a massive positive for our club moving forward. One more thing I would like to say is I'm ready for failure this season under Smith. I fully believe next season is the one where we'll see the best of these layers under Dean Smiths guidance. OK boys thanks for the brilliant video because that was a seriously noisy atmosphere and if there was one thing I would wish for it is that we have this unbelievable atmosphere at every home game. A full Villa Park hopping and singing will bring these players on no end.. Again great video boys. Sorry about the long winded comment but I do comment a lot on here Stokesy. Have u got Irish in ur family?? Next season I'll be getting my first season ticket in years.. And I cannot wait. Please God the owners stay the course with Dean Smith because if they don't I will not be buying my ST. It's all about Dean Smith for me now. I'm in my mid 40's lads and the best managers I've seen at Villa were Big Fat Ron, Brian Little and John Gregory. We were better footballing sides under these 3 managers. MON wasn't my cuppa tea because we couldn't keep possession for long periods and this is why I want Dean Smith to be given a long term run at the job so we can build something very special. We can build in the structures that mean we have a footballing identity that every manager has to adhere to if he wants the job which would mean all future managers would be expected to be able to make us better through possession based football and nothing else matters. That's what Dean Smith can bring to us if he is allowed to have the time to instill his philosophy. Again my apologies for such a long comment boys. Tale care out there and keep the great videos coming. #utv #vtid

I'm a CCFC fan and keep an eye on the likes of villa and Birmingham city hoping they'll do well. Have to say villa are a fantastic side. what a brilliant vlogger aswell. I like the fact you give credit to Birmingham city. the atmosphere looked electric. we do need villa back in the PL though.
