Astral Chain - Slow Attack Is Awesome! (Legion Ability Build + Case R3-B2))

Astral Chain - Slow Attack gives a small % chance per hit to encase your enemies in a bubble of stopped time. What more could you need?
In that brief timeframe, you delay your enemy's next action, letting you open up a wide amount of possibilities. You can complete your combo uninterrupted, go for a Stun Grenade toss, chain bind, or just run away for a much-needed heal. At lower difficulties, you'll feel unstoppable. At higher difficulties, Slow Attack skills are a vital component to your survival!
So what is the "Character Spotlight", exactly? I wanted to make a new commentary series geared specifically towards "newer" players. This could mean people that want to get into Astral Chain, and people who are new to Action Games (particularly Platinum Games) in general.
I wanted to make this series similar to the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Blade Showcase in the sense that we'll be going over the strengths and weaknesses of the Legions, but different in the sense that I'm going to be revisiting the Legions periodically as we learn more and more about Astral Chain!

Some of these missions can be really brutal! Which Olive Case are you struggling with the most? I might cover it in the future!

Honestly, the one for the Raven armor kicked my teeth in. So many bullets going everywhere.

UPDATE: I finally completed it! Holy hell I was so nervous, now I got 11 cases left before I can finish file 12. Thanks for your help man. Oh my god, I have done 53 cases or so and I'm currently stuck in the case you just did in the video. I wasn't aware how good slow attack is. Going to try out this build!

great video as always i've watched your previous astral chain videos and the game looks like a lot of fun by the way is that the instrumental version of the music that plays when you fight Elma in xenoblade 2 (i forgot the name of the song)

are the effect % multiplicative or additive ? IE: if you have two blocks of 50%, is it (1-0.5^2) => 75% to slow or (0.5*2) => 100% slow?

Nice bro! love the end game of Astral chain, just keeps getting harder and harder. Do you also have some issues with camera settings? Sometimes I feel like its abit hard to deal with.

Nova Bushido Camera is definitely the most infuriating part of this otherwise flawless game. basically the only thing I can do is prioritize my targets and quickly kill them, only switching when I finish them off.

no point in reduces cd with hit rush. Only gets reduced if the legion is out. Also the percentage is misleading, it doesn't do much. There was a reddit post I found explaining.

Marcus Joyner Pt Ultimate, but Olive's Cases don't scale with your setting :)

so does it work better on faster attacking legions like sword

It does! In fact, using it on Arm Legion while doing the pummel-rush attack is incredibly effective. In my opinion, the ones that use it best are Arrow and Beast Legion.

By the way if your having trouble getting an s+ on a bike stage, equip a slow attack and spread effect on your legion. Your bikes machine guns will also have the slowdown effect. Makes it really easy due to how fast the guns shoot.

Hey I'm getting back into Astral Chain and I forgot how to increase the maximum capacity for ability codes (like how many slots a legion has) can I can't find it anywhere on the internet. How do I do that?

In the legion learning tab take the purple nodes and fill them with gene codes.

@@danielsama421 yeah... You got to retread some older mission to get them from burrried and left items and chest also try to finish the orders. I am also currently trying to farm premium material codes
