I bought a pair of these headphones for my gaming rig in the red/black color combo on 3/7/20. today is 3/7/21, and I haven't seen any issues, even though I use them _heavily_ for gaming and play long sessions 2-6 hrs. Overall, the memory foam cups have retained their six-angled outline and are still firm since the day I bought them. This headset model lives up to what it's advertised for; "Durable steel headband with damage resistant rubberized cover with detachable cable system designed to withstand victory & defeat." I would definitely recommend these headsets to those who want a durable headset!

Thank you for this video. I wear glasses and have had to endure over-ear headphones for about 1yr. This might help my ears to hurt less when listening to music or watching videos on my pc. I checked and I have a combined jack for the mic and headphone built in so all I need is one cord. My previous pair that worked great (a monster High pair) until one of my cats jumped out of my lap and ripped the audio cord out of the head set, so finding out that you can replace the audio cable is a must. I am not to enthusiastic about blutooth as I don't want to wear down my phone when I use the headset with my phone. I am currently using a pair of earbuds that wrap around the ear for comfort reasons.

ive had the same pair a10s for 6 years, they are still in perfect shape and functioning as good as new. thought about upgrading to the dt 990 pros when i switched from console to pc but glad i decided to stay with my loyal a10s

They are tight when you first get them but over time, they've seemed to not be tight and worked themselves to my head shape better. When you first gwt them, they do hurt a little. After that initial break in, I love them.

Just bought these for $20 and they're quite nice. Love the flip to mute feature and how comfortable they feel. Only downside is like you mentioned is no audio controls, but not a huge deal.

Had mine for about a year and a half and still rocking them. They have impressive audio for price, the ear pieces were very comfy for the first year, (used daily for 7 hours minimum) and no mic issues. Sometimes the mic doesn't work but that's the controller messing up

They are super comfortable and fit really good. They are super durable and last long. I've had mine for about 3-4 years and havent had any problems with them! The mic isnt bad either.

Had these for 4 months now on PS4, and honestly. They’re still great! Great audio, microphone quality, and comfort. Most people say these headphones feel uncomfortable after a few hrs of play, but personally for me I can wear them as long as I want and feel no discomfort at all whatsoever. Love these, definitely recommend for the price.

I’ve bought two of these I liked the headset so much. First one I bought about 5 years ago and I still have it and it works great. The other one is only a year and a half old but I prefer the color of it which is why I use it

Mine was outstanding quality I LOVED it but after a year the mic stopped working and it eventually stopped altogether. I might buy a new astro anyway

Why do they only play in one ear? i got the white one and it only plays in one ear. i used hulk strength to push the connectors in all the way and still dont work, dodes anyone know?

Mine are great, and even over time with being a little rough with them (i.e. things like accidentally sitting on them bc I left them on my chair. Not doing things like throwing them against a wall or floor) they have held up great! the only thing I've noticed is that the microphone doesn't feel supported. whenever its not pushed all the way up, it falls down as low as it can go (almost at shoulder level) and I cant get it to stay by my mouth. This hasn't affected people being able to hear me though, so I don't really mind. 8/10 would reccomend

I used to have the turtle beach recon 70 but the end of it broke off in my controller so i got these and the sound quality is about the same i just hope they are more durable

Believe it or not, I didn’t expect it but it’s one of the best microphone on any headset out right now. I have gameplay/voiceover with it on my channel! Overall great for its price!

I've had my A10's for barely 2 months for my PC Build. Irt was comfortable and had decent mic quality but all of a sudden my audio can only be heard through my right ear. I never damaged it and I tried all forms of troubleshooting, so I now have to purchase a brand new headset. Don't know how nobody else has this issue either.

Astro is just an excellent brand. I had a40s back in the day and they were just incredible, i’m sad I got rid of them. I’m getting back into gaming now and I think i’m gonna buy this headset

My Zelda Edition A10 speaker died this morning after 2.5 years of use every single day. It had been on holidays and it was sad to let it go. I got the black/blue version this afternoon to replace it but its still sad to say goodbye to my Zelda Edition :(

I have these sine july 2017 and they are still running strong. Note i was a heavy gamer and would play almost 24/7. Only had to replace the cable because my cat bit through them lol. The flip to mute doesn't work but its ok cause if i have to mute my mic i can just unplug it from either end. All my friends and family have this headset.

So I’m really on the fence on getting these as a budget. I’m coming from having the Turtle Beach Stealths 520p n those are perfect imo with sound quality but the durability isn’t the best. From those to these would it be a downgrade in sound quality ? Or you guys think I’ll be fine with the way these sound ?

Tbh the sounds Is pretty good i can hear the footsteps, where Is someone shooting at me etc and Is owesome for 8d audio i have them for like 1 and a half or 2 years now Mic Is pretty good,headset Is confortable,depends on your ears if they hurt after like 5 hours of playing depends on the ears My casé doesent but i saw a few comments about that problem If You Buy them quick tip and alot of people doesent know thats why they said Is Bad Is plug the cable On the headset a little more harder like You think it enters but it hasnt fully Enter so when You plug it make a little push then your audio and mic Will be good

@@robbie8194 they're really good my only complaint is that if you use it for 4 hours it'll start to hurt a little where the only piece of padding is.Also make sure that you plug in the cord into the head set a little tight or it will sound horrible because it's not plugged in right the grey part of the cord goes into the headset and the black part goes into the controller DO NOT DO THE OPPOSITE.Also the sound quality is amazing for all types of games!

Had mine for five years and have used them across Switch, PS4, PS5, XB1, and XBS/X, without any issues. If I ever have to replace them I will definitely replace them with another set of A10s.

Literally the same experience here, bought them in 2018, used them on xbox one s, ps4 pro, android phone, switch and now ps5/ xbox series x . Ive the green variant, going strong, sound doesnt crack at all

I've had the A10 for about a year. The audio is nice and so is the mic. The only problem I've had is they get really uncomfortable really fast. I can't wear them for more than an hour without taking them off of my head for a minute or two. The earcups feel nice, but the headpiece at the top is where the pain comes from.

I really like these over my hyperx cloudstingers, a10s are way more comfy and they basically have the same audio quality and the mic on a10 is way better but the a10s are really bulky

One thing I don't like about these ever since I got them. After hours of wearing these, I feel the foam padding on top of the headphones is too thin and starts to put pressure on your head and it can kind of hurt after a while.

i’ve had this headset for at least 3 years without any problems. today is the first day i’ve had one and it’s because my mic plastic is ripped. therefore it makes noise, if anyone has had astro a10 gen 1 and went to gen 2 please let me know, i’m thinking about getting them but i’m reading the on ear not over ear

I've never had headphones more than $60 and my main gripe is that I'm not careful with them at all. So my better off spending $300 or $100 used on indestructible headphones Buying six $11 Amazon basic over ear Bluetoot headphones Or one of these

Picked up the A20 for $120 but won't work on PS5 and Xbox series S so I returned I got these, plug in any console and go....perfect!

Sound for music: A bit too much bass but it all around pretty good for music 👍 Mic quality: The quality is surprisingly good. Cons to add: It’s very uncomfortable if you’re wearing it with glasses and it’s going to hurt your ears if you’re wearing it for a few hours Pros: It’s pretty sturdy and can be made larger or smaller with the stems

guys don't trust people that say "too much bass" people said nothing but that for a very expensive pair that my friend bought and it sounded like two fucking tin cans on your ears

I’m using these with my PS4. When I use the “all audio” setting I can’t hear my team in CoD or talk to them. I can only hear my team when using chat only audio, which means I can’t hear the game...anyone have any tips??

This is a very good budget headset and the mic is quite good at this price point. For me the only downside is when wearing this for hours on end it does hurt my ears. Other wise this is the best headset at 40$ to 80$

its kinda on the heavier side for a headset which makes it more uncomfortable for me, and the mic just doesnt work on my pc using a splitter cable and without one, it simply dont work, so I had to buy a usb mic instead

I had a hyper cloud x gen 2 that I spent 80$, and it fell from about 2 feet in carpet and is already broken, I returned it today, and now this headset will be my next stop.
