Having rewatched scenes from the series; When Brau was first introduced he said that "plucking the spear from his chest would surely kill him". So perhaps, having learnt compassion from Atom, as an act of atonement for his past sins, he killed Roosevelt with the spear, knowing full well he would die also. *Deep*

We don’t know for certain if Brau was even in the wrong for what he did. Could’ve been like Gesicht who was 100% justified for doing so.

This was one of the most beautiful scenes with sadness in Astroboy. This became a turning point in the Tezuka's original manga. Its theme changes from the hero's fights to the conflicts between humans and robots.

Brau is reference to another Astro Boy Character, Blue Knight. So I think it's safe to assume that that spear is his, and also has electromagnetic capability like in the original Astro Boy comic. In layman's term. Electromagnet will fry any electronic device, including robot's brain. The reason why Brau doesn't die while being impaled with the spear, because again, in the original astro boy comic, it's said that the spear was specifically made for him and only he that can use the spear's power properly

United States of Tracia is a play on the USA, but Tracia is an actual region in the Balkans (think Greece). Brau was somewhere in Europe. It's still a hike, but it's conceivable that he snuck onto a cargo container or something of the sort and caught a ride.

The Roosevelt the supercomputer reminds me of the Core from Amphibia series. The Pluto anime series shows robots and AI Computer have sinned: Gesicht: Hatred on the murderer who kills Gesicht’s robotic son. Atom/Astro: Hatred for a moment on Pluto. Roosevelt: Arrogance because he is superior then humans and robots. And Arrogance to me is the King of All Sins.

This masterpiece scene saved the anime, after the plot twist with Pluto’s transition to the side of good, it seemed to me unemotional and illogical (imo, this transition was not revealed in the plot, like why only now, when Atom did not kill him, but when Gesicht and Epselon refused to kill him it didn't matter?) Surprisingly, Brau-1589 - is a cameo character played key role in the anime and was revealed almost better than all the others

I think it makes sense why Pluto decided now that he could turn good. Gesicht was only the first person who was able to really reach Sahad as Pluto and begin to tear down his walls of hate. This makes him turn his hate towards himself and beg Epsilon to kill him but Epsilon refuses. With Abullah’s influence in his ear he still gives in to his hate and turns it outward to Epsilon. Atom was the only one left who could understand the level of hate they both beared and seeing Atom still spare his life even after learning hate helped Pluto realize he could be more than the hate and that he could still help the world

@@gredhudson5576con todo tu respeto te voy a decir esto el anime permitió muertes y en la versión de 2003 no y lo mejor que Naoki pudo haber hecho es que atom también muriera no importa si él era el verdadero héroe ya que más héroe de acción fue gesicht no importa si en su pasado mató a un humano por haber desmantelado a robita muy parecido a numero 5 de la película corto circuito 1986 y los demás dejaron familias 😢😢😢😢😢😢y epsilon a sus niños de la fundación 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 por eso digo esto atom merecio morir y el tambien dejara al doctor solo y triste y asi fuese un verdadero final con exito. Aah y muchos insinúan que habrá segunda parte Pero para mí no es verdad y para otros tampoco y yo te recomiendo los próximos estrenos que Netflix nos va dar ellos son Terminator Zero( la cual ya me urge ver😊😊😊😊 version anime).
