Astros playroom is so underrated

I did the exact same thing for the platinum, finishing up the free DLC (the PS5 artifacts, speedrun and glass punch trophies) and ending the journey by picking up the platinum trophy. I only joined the PlayStation journey in 2018 when God of War came out and I absolutely loved seeing all the tiny references that I could actually pick up on (mainly the game references).

The PS3 is such a nostalgic device to see in this video as it was the first console my family ever had.

The PSP Go was Sony's attempt at making an ultraportable and all-digital PSP system. It was really slick and fun when it came out, but it was definitely not ready for that era. It was ahead of its time... if it released now, I think it would be received with much more warmth. The loss of a UMD drive was a big deal back then. A lot of PSP Games were available digitally for it, but a good portion of them were not. I remember waiting around for so long for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep to be announced as coming digitally, but I don't think it ever did. There were a LOT of great games that didn't make it. Kind of a fun feature is that when you closed it, it could show a clock on the homescreen. Very stylish and sleek, but very much a bad time to release it. Also the controls on it were very cramped. But yeah. There you go! In case you didn't look it up yet, which is probably pretty unlikely.

The original PSOne controller had no joysticks or vibration. The DualShock was released in 97 with Ape Escape released in 99 being the first game you couldn’t play at all with the original PSOne controller. The original DualShock is compatible with the PS2 to some degree

Holy crap there are a lot of little things in this game that are easy to miss. The chivos are a good example, WIpeout was a pretty popular agrav racing game, ...And conquered worlds is ironically a pretty big PS1 commercial over in the UK. Oh another was WIld Arms, that was a pretty good jrpg, and yeah the ps1 og controller had no sticks and when it did get them it had no rumble and inverted thumbsticks like they are now (ps4/5), and when you get the rumble it makes mention of Ape Escape. Yeah I'm rewatching this now so these are gonna be in whatever order. Ah The EE or Emotion Engine was the ps2's cpu or gpu, IK the gpu for the PS3 was The "Reality Synthesizer", they had too much fun naming these. Ah for the players was one of the ads for the ps3. More like the PSP Goarbage, it had no UMD slot and 16 gigs of memory which was cool af you know except a lot of the games were only on UMD and not online. The we have Monkey Ball at home levels, you hit a PS1 open button and open the disc tray, Sadly the PS monitors are expensive nowadays, they were popular for various mods back in the days before cheap lcd screens so a lot were destroyed.
