we are not liars - if anything we're too honest

You're entitled to your opinion, but I will have to outright disagree with you when you state that Capricorns are liars. In actuality, we are the one sign who WILL tell you like it is based on fact and reason. We won't tell you whatever you want to hear - that's not in our nature...it's counter-productive. However, most other signs will rule out the Capricorn opinion because of the misconception that we have a superiority complex and we are trying to treat you like a child. The realization is that one of our greatest talents is looking inward at our own faults and admitting when we're wrong. Basically, we would rather fall on our own sword and give up ego if it means starting over anew. And that's usually the path that most other signs will either resort to last or never do. Now if you're a sign who loves to gossip and know everyone's secrets you're out of luck because trying to get into a Capricorns' business and capture our secrets, as a natural defense mechanism we will do whatever we must to make sure you don't get too close. (you don't tell everyone your business - but hey that's just common sense 101). You see, but we do it best because we must always maintain control over any given situation involving ourselves. Some people are just naturally too curious about us because unlike everyone else we don't share too much of ourselves because we're not open books and prefer it that way.

As a Capricorn I don’t see myself as a compulsive liar. But I will say this sometimes-certain people can front like they’re friendly, and be so noisy. They step up to you with questions when you know their true agenda. Therefore, to avoid giving up valuable info, as a Capricorn you gotta know when to lie. But in general we are not liars. We are too dam busy trying to make things happen.

Cap here and I disagree about the lying part because I probably define lying differently. the only time I might "lie" is to keep from arguing or hurting someone. I'd never lie to make myself look better or cooler than I really am, which is what a lot of people I know do. to me that's worse.

In conclusion, the Capricorns who you've come across in your personal travels, from your perspective, probably all realized that you couldn't be trusted and and as a result wouldn't let you in because you weren't worth the time and effort.

Im a capricorn man and I am extremely honest person I hate liars, something i hate the most can not deal with it and on the other hand i don't use the word "i love you" unless i really mean it, cuz if you really think about it, its a serious word to tell someone and people use it like its nothing, they have to know the difference between liking someone and loving someone! something similar but not the same.

Your analysis of Capricorn energy is exactly on point and is very accurate. I'm Cap sun, Mercury is Cap and 10th/ 11th house is Cap with Virgo moon. As for lying, I think its not our intention to be, however the energy of a Cap is reserved and does not want to appear insensitive or brash to others.

I agree with you 110%, Capricorns don't know who they are cause they are too busy trying to achieve things. I am a Capricorn and still don't understand myself and that sometimes puts me in a weird type of depression.

Capricorns are very honest - too honest in fact. However, they will lie when they need to, like any other sign. But, we are characteristically honest people- too honest for our own good.

Hi hun thank you for the insight, but I must disagree with you on lying, I never tell lies and a few other Capricorns in the family are the same. I think you'll find most hate lies as they hurt and Cappie don't like getting hurt. We tend to keep private and what happens at work or home stays there. Also we suffer with black dog or depression of some form, thanks to Saturn, a person or a bad word can start it off. that's were we may get the cold side or serious side from which a lot of forecasters don't mention and just say we are sticks in the mud most of the time. Pretty much on point in many ways. However, Capricorn women are not liars, by any stretch of the imagination. We are very honest, though be it, tactful. We also aren't cold. We are direct. Many times people cannot tell the difference between being cold and direct. We don't want to waste our, or your time, beating around the bush. We are stubborn, but not closed-minded. If we have a belief and learn new info about the belief that challenges what we currently believe, we will analyze the info. In the end, if the challenging info makes sense, it makes sense. We will ALWAYS go with what makes sense. We will not adhere to a belief, if it's proven to be flawed or foolish. We love accuracy and are grossly annoyed by a lack, thereof. In addition, we DO know who we are. It seems this way because we can see things from many different perspectives. Therefore, there is a strong duality to our personality. We can adjust to any environment and behave accordingly. That's not the same as not knowing who you are. That's just being adaptable. At our core, we are people of integrity, who believe in loyalty, honesty, respect, courtesy, consideration, and all of the other important intangibles of this superficial world. Many people try to paint Caps in a terrible light. I believe this is because we are thinkers and doers, not talkers. Thus, people know little about us and misunderstand us. I'd say we're pretty honest compared to most ppl overall. I don't like lying but it's neccessary sometimes. People say they like hearing the truth but the truth is often brutal lol. With my close circle I'm extremely honest because they know it's coming from a good place and they won't take it out of context and get bend of out shape about it. Now for example I have a good job, someone who I know is lazy and irresponsible asked me if I could get him one. Instead of telling "no your a lazy fuck that already can't show up to work and you'll make me look bad and you can't keep a job anyway" I just said "apply" knowing he wouldn't get the job anyway and that way I don't have to hurt his feelings.
