Thank you for this very interesting video. I have always wondered how accurate my birth Time really is. I was born in the hospital and my time is registered As 10 am. 😆 I Love the thought of having each year A new lord or lady by my side throughout the new year. This year is a special spiritual awakening year for me.🥰

Hi Doinita, it's good to hear from you. Just to complicate things (!), there can be more than one lord of the year. The primary one is the ruler of your Solar Return, which is calculated close to your birthday every year. This is the ruler of the Ascendant of your Solar Return chart. The second one is the ruler of your profected house, too complex to explain here! Finally, we can look at a technique called Firdaria to see which planets are ruling your current cycle. To keep it simple, find the ruler of your ASC in your Solar Return. I can recommend AstroPeregrine (John Foster), AstroGold, Matrix WinStar and Solar Fire. Without buying software, you could probably draw up your Solar Return on Astro.com or Astro-Seek.com (make sure you have the hyphen). Best of luck with everything.

Hi Louis, it's a cardboard "game board" of a sort, or something from a book, which I've had since my early teens!! I framed it eventually as the corners were wearing out!! Hope all is well --

Hi Barb, there are actually many time lords (it's always more complex than meets the eye!). You could draw up a solar return and take the ruler of the ASCENDANT for the year - this is one major time lord. Another time lord is the profected time lord. Every 12 years the chart returns back to the first house ruler as the time lord. So, for example, if you are turning 24, your time lord would be the ruler of your ASC. If you were turning 25, your time lord would be the ruler of your 2nd house... and so on!!

@@barbararieche569 If you have Scorpio on your 8th house cusp, then Mars will be your profected time lord! No outer planets for rulership - that is a modern invention!! Mars rules Aries by day and Scorpio by night, just like Venus rules Libra by day and Taurus by night. Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus close to your Sun - sounds like opportunities!!!

When I was born they did not put the times on the birth certificate in the hospital so I have no idea when I was born except I know that I was born between eight in the morning and 10 which unfortunately at 9:30 switches from Virgo rising to libra rising. ? I was born in an elevator on top of all of it.

Debbie, what a wonderful birth story of being born in an elevator! It sounds like Mercury (Virgo rising) as Mercury was the messenger of the gods, traveling up and down between heaven and earth. However, the only true was to find out your birth time is through rectification, when an astrologer takes all the important dates in your life and works backwards. It is a time-consuming process but you may find someone who can help you. Search for "rectification" and make sure the Astrologer is CERTIFIED.

@@debbieb4668 Billions of people have Mercury retrograde as it goes retrograde three times a year and it's the planet least affected by retrograde so don't worry about it at all. Could suggest that you think before you speak (Mercury energy goes in for processing before it comes out.) I don't rectify any more as I don't have the time. Yes, I think you are a Virgo rising too. Hello T, there is no other way. The rising sign is dependent on the birth time and sets the clock in motion. That is why it is so important. You may be able to find an astrologer who will RECTIFY your birth time from your life events. I am not rectifying at this time. Make sure the astrologer is certified. For example, by ISAR or OPA.
