This update cracks open Astroneer in a way that allows players to do all sorts of really fun things. From creating new saves with unique characteristics like hardcore permadeath, to setting up exact scenarios and speedruns, the custom game tools added will allow you to make the experience your own and then share them with others.

I remember doing my own sort of hard mode during early access by unlocking the shuttle as soon as I could then flying to a different planet, ditching the shuttle and trying to survive and get back to Terran. Did that once for every other planet. So it's very cool that even simple things like starting without a starting shelter will now be possible!

@@AstroneerI think some things this game is missing are a combat update. Enemy aliens and guns. Ofcourse I know this is a cartoonish game so both aliens and guns could be cartoonish too. Guns for fun. Like water gun or paint gun. Farming update like planting and harvesting space crops with maybe unique fruits with different abilities. Builder update Add buildable real time space projects like satellites or space stations or Dyson sphere etc. A new solar system with new planet types like a water planet with diving mechanics submarine and etc. Black hole or pulsar or supernova as cosmetic events in the sky or background. Taking pictures of them can earn achievements. Adding missiles like tnt or fireworks that can be used in both ground and air vehicles. Some npc s maybe that can be both aliens or astronauts with some quests and missions. Bounty hunter missions aswell. Asteroid shower event with a rare chance to impact on surface that can be mined for game rare metals. Telescope for enjoying the beautiful sky of game with picture taking ability Thanks for listening ❤.

I’ve been playing in astroneer for 5 years and I am really glad to see that game developing so fast trains, graphic, automation and a lot of great content and I am really waiting for moment when astroneer will be a giant content game with factories and bigg quantities planet resources and of course of players, System Era Softworks thank you for that game and don’t stop working these update already show how awesome yours ideas and this game🎉

Just started playing again after years of not playing video games and i can say I was a little confused but got back to it fairly quick. I love this game, however I play on Xbox but use a keyboard and mouse and cannot access the start up menu screen. That is literally the only complaint I have. Very nice to see all these new things coming. I could only hope this game does not stop updating rather then making a new game altogether. Such an amazing game threw and threw. Keep up the awesome content and I'll keep playing in my free time as it comes.
