OK let's take this to the next level. Shall we, how many public schools used that kind of turf? How many maintenance custodians and students got sick? Look into Colonia HS New Jersey and see if there is a connection. That might jog some correlation of known facts regarding carcinogenics as well as Radiological manipulation of genetics.

@TYT Sports Sorry for the errors. I've come to the point where I write a piece or a comment. Submit them onto youtube go back an hour later and it's all a jumbled mess. My apologies for the inaccuracy but it is not of my choosing. I worked in the field of Athletics recreation Athletics in college and my degree was plant science. I worked on turf science projects. There is a reason why RU does not use turf at least back for its sports fields. I suspect the plant scientists knew and pushed that onto the Colleges/University. In fact while writing this clarification my sentences were re-written in front of me. So I apologize if once again they go and change it once I press send. The reason why I want to know. Is there were 2 incidences not relating to sports where lab accidents in buildings. I worked in a lab were carcinogenic material evaporated into the air and they did not inform the students. I knew because I did a work study for several plant sci professors. They would not let me reenter the building for a week. But classes still happened in that bldg for other nonplant sci course work. How many of them got sick? How many chemicals did I work with without the proper protection? Undergrads are a dime a doz so we don't matter and neither do the HS students and facilities workers. Let the lawsuits fly in for Monsanto chemical poisoning via plant sci research.

So many MLB / NFL stadiums used AstroTurf from the late 1960s - early 2000s. I wonder if there are any similar cases like the Vet. AstroTurf is also responsible for the number of concussions sustained by NFL players during this same time frame since there was no padding underneath the fake grass.

To add to that Gary Maddox former outfielder for the Phillies not only played on the surface he also served in Vietnam where he was exposed to chemicals that made his skin sensitive which is why he always sported a beard.

Terry Franconia was the manager of the Phillies in the 90's and he's had multiple long stays at the Cleveland Clinic during his decade long career with the Guardians. He's had stomach and heart problems and he still drinks, smokes cigars and uses chewing tobacco. Now I'm worried even more. 😭😭😭

The sick twisted truth is a lot of these chemicals are not needed to make the product they are grandfathered in or in government. Brother-in-law under the table deals does not make the product function any better or worse and that’s one less testing does it doesn’t have to take forever you just have to test it for everything quickly as possible😮

This goes to show that the culture of sports is dead. And that professional sports now, are just hollow shells of what professionals sports and sports of culture were before today. We need to relearn the origins of all of these sports and not just controversies. Bringing light into what gathered us together instead of harping on what’s dividing us today will remind even the younger generations what all that still binds us today is dying tomorrow if we don’t figure out the origins and history of when it all started. Especially when a lot of history in America leads way before America was even born. And that is what Americans of today are afraid of.

@@tytsports Did you know that golf started in Scotland back in the 15th century before America was even made? Trump is still all over that. That is American history that he himself would claim “unAmerican.” But it will get the attention from Scottish people of America that that is all the way American. It came from Europe and planted seeds in American soil. If we can learn American sports history, most of it is European, right? So let’s get to know the origins of American sports that leads back to European roots.

When I hear a story like that, she drives me crazy to no end, because huge corporations are not saving anything in the long run before you put a product to action in your company. If you do not have every available test done, you are failing your people, the government, does this all the time camp Lejeune is the latest government debacle we had the turf killer spray part agricultural become a problem less testing is wrong human lives are the final test then it’s too late😮

Hhhmm , I played Junior College Basketball in te mid 80s. Our coach was Mike Mitchell an ex pitcher for in pretty sure for the Phillies. He ran us to death lol , and we often accused him of losing his mind ( not to his face) . But he got sick with cancer himself abnd passed. Might wanna do a. Lil more ! diggin. Damn good coach. Don't become a fox viewer but believing everything here! If other teams had players on the same type of turf, and had similar rates of the cancer, then this might be a story! Also, dying at 3x normal rate in society is not correct parameter to compare! What is rate of that cancer in baseball and teams with that turf vs grass? Moral outrage makes news, scientific inquiry generally gets put by wayside!

GFY my Uncle was a Chemical Engineer for Monsanto before he died of testicular cancer. He was a great good men but Monsanto didn't even take care of their own. I'm dying because my Liver already died and I'm not a drinker at all. I too was exposed to all those toxic chemicals.
