@@nikeonnk actually, both gow and doom gameplay are farrrrrrrrrrrr from what the original creators intended lore wise. The reason so is due to the fact that there wouldn't be a challenge if everything was a 1 shot sandbox, frankly asuras wrath gameplay proves this, but the boss fights are still so fucking cool.

Even though this game is almost 10 years old, Asura is still one of the top totem pole of "Power fantasy". Make no mistake, Asura is super strong, but his rivals are pretty darn legit too. And probably one of the few game characters can hang in comic / anime book verses (like Superman, Silver Surfer, DBZ etc). Might not win them all. But he will sure as hell make them work for it.

Augus was your standard battle hound. He liked a good fight and that was it. Yasha was... an interesting rival at least. He certainly came off as cocky at first (As in the first time you fight him), but he did get a redemption arc started almost right after that fight.

Ultra Street Fighters IV needs to be put on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. Not only that, but Asura's Wrath, Zack and Wiki, MegaMan, and Sonic should be free dlc, as neither me nor my family knows my PlayStation password.

I never played this game but from what I've seen here, it sounds like a game about an angry dad destroying people who call themselves gods with a serious face, destroying an actual god, and punching a few astronomical objects to smithereens along the way, all because they made his daughter sad. I'm all for it. Best story no contest. I totally understood why he punches so hard the moment I learned that, very realistic.

To everyone who says that Kratos is stronger, might I point out that kratos has never shown in lore the same ability to destroy a being the size of a planet by punching it. And not just destroy, but atomize. Asura did, as it was his first proper boss fight. This man started out ATOMIZING HIS ENEMIES.
