I think it might be important to point out the speed/range differences between 5G and 2.4Khz WiFi. For example, Ring Pro Floodlight Cams (2.4Khz) are mounted exterior to the house. I have had to install 3 ASUS router nodes to solve the issues at my house, a single story home that is only 1780 square feet. Can you comment on my AiMesh configuration? I have an ASUS GT-AC5300 as my main WiFi Router, an RT-AX58U, an RT-AX3000, and a RT-AC68U. This configuration is working great, but could it be better with different hardware solutions?

I am staying in a double story house as well. A network point (cat 6) been install on ground floor and also one in first floor. My TV is at ground however my main PC and Surface pro on second floor. Thinking whether can i replace my main stock router with RT-AX53U and connect to another unit in first floor with cable but at the same time the second (upper floor)as a mesh(or should if be a extender which is better?)
