8GB memory onboard is big no 1 you need memory matching when slap on upgradeable sodimm ram 2 . 8 + 32 stick will in result only 8+8 of them was have runnjng dual channel (ddr5 technically spilt channel in one dimm so you migbt see it as quad channel ) ,the remaining 24GB space on the sodimm will not have dual So it will be 8+8 in dual and 24 single in result

I got it as it seems great BUT the HDMI is only TMDS so cant output 4k120hz which was a dealbreaker for me so ill return it and keep on looking.

For a laptop for 3d modelling, rendering and photo editing, considering that I already have a desktop pc, what would you suggest? I need it to work when I’m travelling(i’am an architecture visualiser), to shoot e-commerce in theter mode and soon I’ll attend a master in digital architecture too. I am currently choosing between Asus proart studio book 16 oled and Lenovo yoga pro 9i 9gen and each one has it’s pros and cons . Anyone has some suggestions to give me? Thanks in advance

I would vote for g14 zephyrus or legion slim 7. Considering those are middle-high end and they are slim and lighter than some others.

@Luca_Tor yeah, i personally would love to get my hands on the legion slim 7 but the spec i hope to get is not available in my region. I work with Blender, 3D Printing, editing photo and video sometimes. So i decided to go for the Slim 5, it's not that slim like the 7. Just want to say, i feel you:))) being in the creative field myself

Hello,.. I can not decide between this Asus with 24gb ram, 1tb storage and rtx 4060 and the Lenovo legion slim 5 14.5 inch with 7840hs, 32gb ram, 1tb storage and rtx 4060. Asus is round 200 EUR more than Lenovo.

I am considering but even if upgrading is possible the ones sold in Europe is limited to 24gb ram.. I am not sure about how future proof will 24gb be

How unfortunate that it has a numpad .. why on Earth does anyone need a redundant set of keys that make the whole keyboard be shifted off center, occupying precious space that would be a great placement for speakers.

Some programs like blender and excel and other pro apps use the numpad, which this laptop is aimed at folks that are creators that need it!

@@yishaiamatai I have cleared both official Microsoft excel certificates recently and never during the preparation of the exam or during the exam have I ever used the numpad, completely useless.

@@kiryuukazuma5986 I can give you another reason. Using this for 3d modeling, navigation and shortcuts to alot of things are programmed to the numb pad. I can definetly see people not using it, but me and everyone I know at work, prefers the number pad. Maybe more manufacturers can figure something out like framework where both keyboard layouts are available
