Great review! I'm replacing my Strix with the Helios so this is exactly what I was looking for. The lack of numberpad, micro SD and limited USB ports were my biggest issues with the ROG Strix.

@@techshackOG Bro i live in germany , here we have strix g16 with i9 13900HX rtx 4070 screen resoulation is 1920x1200 (165hz refresh rate) and the predator helios have Intel i9 13900HX same rtx 4070 but the screen resoulation is 2560x1600 and refresh rate is same as strix (165hz), which one should i get bro? Both are in same price range

I saw a chart on another video that showed the predator having pretty nice thermals and the fan is also quieter than most of the last gen gaming laptops too making it pretty nice.

been liking asus rog laptops but its time to buy another what should i choose in ur opinion? Between this two basically i want to play only games high end games such as cod mw3, gta5, battlefield 2042,farcry, resident evil 4,horizon, and many more i find.. So which one i should? Also acer up screen is kinda big in length but rog screen looks great as wide open and slim

The aspect ratio of predator is 16:10 as compared to 16:9 of strix. 16:10 is generally considered better as u het more screen. But 16:9 is also good if its a matter pf personal choice. I say go for Helios 16 as it is powerful enough to go toe to toe in hardcore games with strix., it has slightly better screen, better port selection.

Asus rog for 4 reasons. 1- MS office included 2-Dolby Atmos 3- Dolby Vision 4- 240hz display instead of 165hz . Doesn't make much difference but yes.

First of all.. Wow... Ur options are just 👌 Go with predator with 4080 i guess, as performance of 4080 shud be far better than 4070. Cpu is maxed already in both. I prefer looks and ports of predator helios. Strix has a bigger screen (which also means more stress on gpu) so its both +ve and - ve. Choose performance (helios) vs screensize(strix) .

Probably the best option unless you need a 4080/4090. But if your only choosing between a 50/60/70, then 4060 will be better as it nearly matches the laptop 4070 while being much better than a 4050.

Armoury Crate is garbage. Its considered a bloatware for us Asus user. Go for Predator or Nitro instead

@@paradoxine6287 just one google search and youll know it. its so bad its being called bloatware, and someone developed an alternative (G-Helper) so you can avoid that garbage. Why is it bad you ask? In my experience with my Asus TUF before transferring to Predator, -It eat way more ram than it should be. Bad for 16gb ram. Check task manager and count how many bs asus apps running 1min on turning your laptop on. -Why? Because theres a countless of bloatware inside, like AuraSync or Asus 'social media'. -You cant turn it off. Uninstalling it creates glitches. You can disable some to save some precious ram in the task manager services, but it mess up your laptop. Like -Battery charging limit, direct power consumption from ac adapter, or asus sharpness boost. Not recommended to mess those services. -Automatic Fan is awful. If you tried Predatorsense, you'll realize it. Youll never experience bad stuff if you dont have an idea whats a good software is. Like those people wholl say North Korea is the best country because duh, youre clueless about the world. If youre okay with it, good for you. Maybe you have a powerful ROG or something hence why

Basically more features come at more price. So, say if a professional editor, who needs only 120 hz screen at max, doesnt really needs to spend more money to buy a 240 hz screen, which is really helpful for esport players

Yes, absolutely ! I feel the same, i feel that every laptop should have it ! But there are a lot of ppl who dont neet it and hence there is are special keyboard without numpad. Its just crazy to me
