I typically use one dedicated psu cable per 8-pin port on the graphics card. So in this case yes, two 8-Pin cables from the power supply. The only exception is for example the MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 3080 ti. That has three 8 pins connections and I don't aggresively over clock with it, so I use two dedicated 8 pin power supply cables. The second cable has the "daisy chain" for the third 8 pin connection. You can also check the gauge psu cable wiring to find out how much power in watts each individual psu cable can support.

@@park9912 Yeah totally possbile. I just installed an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 Ultra Gaming yesterday, its just as heavy (if not heavier) and it didn't have virtually any GPU sag. IMO it comes down to the PCI-E bracket retention that flexes. Due to Jayz2Cents video EVGA started implementing this feature into their cards and it definitely shows. Yes it is enough. Most power supplies ive seen don't have that 12 pin port, only 8pins. Because it has 12 pins, you're totally fine to use the daisy chain. That graphics card only pulls 250-300w under load.

VGA is a term people use for the video connetion from the graphcis card to the monitor. Technically VGA is an older (Blue) cable that shouldn't be used for these kinds of graphics cards because its an analog connection (Not digital). The other cables are PSU Cables used by the power supply to power the graphcis card

I personally only recommend EVGA, Superflower, Corsair or Seasonic. The wattage is fine for that build, but Deepcool in my opinion isn't a reputable power supply manufacturer. If you plan to do a graphics card upgrade in the future to something with more power draw, I would return it for at least an 850w gold rated model listed above.

No I haven't seen that on my card, truthfully I haven't looked either because I haven't seen any indication of performance being negatively impacted to result in thermal throttling

Will it work? Probably - but that depends on the quality of the power supply. You should aim your internal components to load your PSU around 50% for less strain and better efficiency

Every RTX 3000 graphics card i've uploaded to this channel has a variation of coil whine. But it only appears to happen when the games are loading or at a menu screen.

And do you know will Nvidia release decent driver updates on 3070 ti and make the fps difference between 3070 and ti version more? My game aim is 2k Ultra and usually planning to play story games like rdr2, cyberpunk, god of war. I would like to play competitive too but mostly AAA games

I'm sorry for my questions I know it's a lot but will prices go down when Nvidia introduce 4000 series? If so I would like to get 3080 10gb and play in 2k for future proofing. Will they hit the MSRP?

@@aliahmedov4674 Those games are demanding triple A titles so I would get the best card you can afford. The 4000 series could be another paper launch and 3000 series is already very close to MSRP. They will be discontinued before the 4000 series launches so it may be a very long time before 4000 series is readily available due to supply chain issues with Ukraine, Russia and china.

@@SystematicHardware Off the top of my head, it's an 850 watt modular gold. I cant remember the exact brand. Currently; it isn't signaling out to my monitor. I suspect it has something to do with the PSU technically as this is not an unfamiliar problem with my PC. 🤔 I think to be on the safe side, Im gonna reinstall my old GPU until Im more than sure I have what I need.

I'm inclined to believe you. I generally would er on the side of not spending extra money water cooling a 3070 ti when I could take that extra money and buy an air-cooled higher tier model

@@belowdown7339Thats the efficiency rating, not the model - in short yes you need to make sure you have enough power supply connectors to populate the power ports on the graphics card.

Yeah same here, it runs so cool. It's litterally a perfect combo with the i5 11600k. It looks like it has a dual bios switch and I can't wait to look into other functions of it

There is always that chance pci-e slots below the card will be blocked, but that depends on the motherboard in question.

It depends on your other internal components and total system power draw. I know people that have done it yes, including myself. However if that power supply is 5 years or older you might want to invest in something new and at least 750w.
