Yo! Just wanted to let you know that you can actually remove a small piece on the back of the "arm" if you pull quite hard, route your cables and then put it back on. Keep up the great vids!

Just ordered this, my other option is Gigabyte G27Q, but seeing some reviews on our local online shopping store, some got unlucky with dead pixels, so I put my trust on Asus quality once more. Hope they will not disappoint, loved my asus 1080p 144hz, but time to give it to my sister :) Nice video!

Just upgraded from the MSI MAG27C 1080 to this and wow it's stunning to look at, especially transitioning from a 1080p curved monitor. It definitely needs some manual tweaks because the saturation for some colors are blown out of proportion.

Hello, I would like to ask you for a little help. In the end, should I go with this Asus model or the LG 27GN850-B? In the local store for the Black Friday sale, the LG set is fully reserved, but this Asus that you showed is on a small discount, so the exact model is VG27AQZ. On rtings they give preference to Asus, but on other sites LG took the advantage in terms of color quality. What should I take at the end? I am a user who mostly uses a monitor for work, but I certainly like gaming in my free time that's for sure.

You can take that small plate off on the back to fit your cable through for cable management.

Not sure should I buy it with my 3060TI 2K on triple A wont supports a lot of fps on high/ultra settings so no benefits from the 165 hrz...not sure should I go for 1080p... Is it bad if I play full hd on this monitor sometimes?

You can pop that plastic piece out. It clips in. - For the cable management part.

One thing i can help with fitting your cables inside the stand panel, you can remove the cap so the usb and the power cable can fit thru the stand cable hole. Youre welcome

How was font sharpness? I do a lot of programming and am hoping the extra resolution makes the fonts more crisp than my 24” ASUS 1080p, which looks pretty sharp

Text sharpness was very nice. Things will get smaller in comparison to 1080p but you can zoom in a little to make up for that.

A lot of the settings are greyed out for me such as overclocking , sharpness and so on , any idea how to fix it?

Certain presets can block you from making changes to refresh and other settings, also ELMB sync on will grey out your trace free menu. Switch modes around and see how they unlock :)

I just ordered this model monitor for my gaming desktop (GTX1660Ti OC 6GB) and my plan is to connect it to my gaming laptop to see how it performs on a GTX1060 3GB.

@@massoff7742 well, it's better than connecting it to a TV set that's not good for a gaming desktop. I upgraded from the GTX 1660Ti OC to an RTX 3060 OC and the CPU from Ryzen 5 2600X to Ryzen 9 5950X and from 16GB RAM to 64GB RAM. Certainly has amazing performance and the monitor is amazing. The laptop, on the other hand, looks amazing over the internal display and the laptop is hibernating due to a bad charger.

There's a successor to this model the vg27aq1LA. But it has 1ms mprt not gtg. I think I should spend for LG gp850-B Expensive for me but will be worth it in the long run. I also checked gigabyte m27Q but it has something like bgr pixel layout instead of rgb so texts look blurry on it. This whole monitor market is too confusing. Again there's one from msi the mag274qrfqd I'm circling round and round and getting no conclusion. Ahh sad me

Since PS5 doesn’t take advantage of 1440p at the moment you could probably just get away with a 1080p monitor for less money, or go all out for a 4K HDMI 2.1 montior for the max experience.

A GTX 980 won’t be powerful enough for 1440p, 1080p would probably be better with it

They are very similar. LG has a better quality IPS for the extra money.

Put in mind that this monitor doesn't support 1080p at 120hz on PS5 everything else will work just fine .
