Asus works really hard to bring us the gadgets of the future and now we have the Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED finally releasing in the Philippines!
They really outdid themselves with this one. There is just so much to love about this POWERHOUSE of a laptop. Looking forward to the full review, esp in regards to thermals, fan noise & any throttling. I think the ergo lift of the 2nd will improve viewing and ergonomics, but as it's also for air intake I worry about dust getting under it, with no way to properly clean it out. The air intake vents under it are not accessible.

Just press the info button, then click on don’t watch ad then just close menu. ez skip ads and then later skip to the end of the video, then replay it will remove the remaining ads

Just bought this. Delivered today. (i9, 32gb, RTX 3070, 4k OLED). It has a few odd FAULTS that I am curious whether anyone else's has: 1) there is a quiet buzz whenever the track pad is used. Very quiet, but enough to be irritating, and certainly odd. Never had this on a laptop before. 2) the screen doesn't quite fit to the bottom besel flush. So there is a gap between the screen and the bott bezel. 3) actually has the green AERO backdrop when I loaded it. Anyone else had/have similar issues with theirs?

Here are the failures of this laptop. 1)For a high end laptop like this would expect it to have a FINGERPRINT SENSOR,for unlocking it.But nope it lacks ,an area that hp covers well.They want you to use the web cam for unlocking the unit which ain't good for some of us who like covering it due to privacy issues 2.The laptop i expected would come with a type C charger at least due to its high end price ,but its a disappointment.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️ 3.)The laptop pen isn't magnetic like that of the Hp spectre which makes it easy to get lost.U can't even charger the pen which i thought wud be chargeable via usb C like how Hp spectre does🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️🤷‍♂️ 5.) This is something i have noticed in most new laptops.Now that the power button is incorporated in the keyboard keys, it would be great if it was colour coded, to distinguish it from the other keys I REALLY HOPE THE UX583 CAN FIX THIS. MY ADVICE IS TO SKIP #THIS ONE AND WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.

Did you happen to notice that the power brick it comes with us 240W?! Which it will need every bit of with a desktop i9, a 3070 graphics card, & not 1 but 2 UHD screens! You reckon lack of a usb type c which delivers just 100W is a fail? If this was plugged into a usb c charger it would actually need to draw power from the battery rather than charge it.
