Thanks for you video, Actually i want to know if I cut some holes on backcover right below the fan will it increase airflow in duo Pro?
@DIYDime4 жыл бұрын
Ahsan Farooqi I would not recommend doing this! I believe factory vents are already design to do 100 % cooling. As air flows in through the vents it cools down also others components on the motherboard

Hi. Do you still recommend the same thermal paste? I did use mx4 on the same laptop and temp is around 90-100 during game play. Also my laptop is missing silver (metal?) surrounding around cpu. It is same model with i7 cpu (ux581gv). At idle temps are around 47-53. Do you think it is normal? Also core#5 is around 15-20c cooler then others. Do you know if it is normal?

Hi @demoncher, thank you for the guide. does this laptop normally run hot at CPU approx. 88-99 deg C and GPU 70 deg C under performance mode? as I've noticed mine does using armoury crate. would a 10 deg reduction in heat do much for performance/lifespan? sorry if the question seems dumb, new to this. thanks in advance
@DIYDime4 жыл бұрын
Derrick Pangilinan Not sure about performance but reducing your laptop temperatures will definitely increase lifespain
@DIYDime4 жыл бұрын
Derrick Pangilinan They do run HI temperatures but I would not recommend to do that for long period. Keep it below 80C if you can

Can you give a little more details? What Adobe premiere, when exactly it’s freezing? Does is it freeze windows too or just Adobe?

demoncher Exactly what you did...I cotton swabs and a toothbrush...put some Artic Mx-4!! My only issue is with the plastics thing around the gpu! Brown one! It did not remain with glue and I couldn't put it exactly like it was..could that be a problem? Is it overheating instead of reducing heat?

PROPULSIVO did you try to delete Nvidia in hardware manager and update! Try to download newest driver for Nvidia from Asus. Otherwise try to re- paste. Reinstall windows maybe. Honestly I don’t know.
