Bolero has the most dangerous front suspension setup with the uncertain lower bolt joint. The vehicle seems high above ground clearance but again the Control Arm and differential box always touches the surface on bad roads. The silencer also gets hit and gets dislodged and creates clanking sound. Bolero has a very poor AC ventilation which tends to blow only on the face of the driver passenger. Music system is limited to 2 mid-range speakers and the music system is also is not of good quality. Another issue with Bolero is the Delphi TVS Fuel Injector which requires costly servicing from Rs.6500- Rs.12000/- per injector (which is rather very frequent). The body also gets rusty sooner than any other indian manufactured cars. The new bolero power+ BS6 has a bad issue with the horn clock spring and it is costly to repair since it involves driver's side air bag assembly. Bolero is 20 years old but it remains the slowest on improvement and Rs.10 lakhs price tag is too much.

Regreating after buying this car, March 2022. Dual airbags. Little bit more comfortable than previous generation but still not worth money. Nothing in the name of features. Engine power is also low in compare to other cars in the price range. Go for XUV 300 instead. Their is no space in third row. Only one advantage, your vision is to the front of Bonet. Damn car. I will surely change in next 5 years.

Really disappointed by Mahindra, in 2020 they should hv come up with more aggressive look of bolero considering the market competition.

Its main target customers are people from rural India, who has to travel on poor roads with lots of passengers, they have not changed the 30 year old design...& No major increase in equipment levels.... millennials in metro cities are not their target....with pedals so high up, its difficult for tall drivers to drive this
