Welllll unfortunately we all age don't we some faster then others depending on your lifestyle. Phil had a fast and furious life!! So did I. I'm 66 and can't do half of what I used to either. But I tell you what do I have regrets? Yes...but some parts were absolutely mesmerizing!!! Enjoy the ride people...enjoy the journey while you can!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I don’t think Phil would have been the right drummer for the who who are more rough and tumble group. Genesis allowed him to showcase his virtuosity.

One of the GOATs his Genesis legacy ALONE is brilliant but sidecar to his 40 plus year solo career is almost unparalleled.. excluding say Bryan Ferry or Don’t Henley .

Phil was designed from an early age to be an entertainer for others. No ego, brilliant and talented. Yet he couldn't be pinned down to one position on stage. A drummer comes forward and leads the singing 🎶 in Genesis. Like Karen Carpenter stepping up from drums to lead sing. I guess they have the best of both worlds 🌍 to offer once they have the rythme and vocal working the yin yang in balance. Stay well Phil you are like family to us. 💎

I love Phil as you apparently do, but “no ego”, please… That said, Phil, considering his immense talents and success in the heady world of entertainment, is much less unbearable than many others in similar positions, such as Paul McCartney for one…
