I feel you there. Though I was married for 38 years and had 2 beautiful children looking back I realize just how much I hated the confinement of marriage. If I could do it over I'd forgo the formalities and just live together in peace. Marriage changes people's outlook on the dynamics of the relationship and not always for the better. My husband passed away 9 years ago (God Rest his Soul) but I will never get married again. I like my freedom too much. I only have to answer to myself and I enjoy being on my own.

Yeah! I was married for 10 years -- marriage SUCKS !! A marriage certificate only exists to benefit the judge and the lawyers in the end to divide up the property and the kids. Stay single and buy your own property and let him buy his own property, if you really want to live together, each buy a house on the same lot and when you have a disagreement -- he can go to his house and you can go to your house!

She is beautiful and talented. A marriage would have snuffed some of her qualities.....for sure. It was better to be independent yet to share a life with someone she loved. I respect them and I think they did the right thing. Marriage is a contract and these, do not agree with emotions or relationships. It think it damages them. My opinion here.

Goldie Hawn has already revealed why she and her ex-husband Ken Hudson divorced many years ago. Her current partner Kurt Russell and she have never formerly married. The reason for that was the messy divorce that ensued with Hudson having an affair with actress Cindy Williams while Goldie was out of the country shooting Private Benjamin. Hudson not only had an affair but moved in with Williams while Goldie was working and paying all the bills. Eventually, Huson would cite his reason for his unfaithfulness was due to her constant absence while she worked on her career. Hudson got Alamony and Goldie got her 2 children. She and Kurt Russell had worked together before Overboard when Kurt was just a teenager and her in her 20s. Once they met again the couple fell in love and moved in together.
