Some people are fortunate in life to live in a fairly tale of such beauty and serenity ❤️💙💙❤️ it's really a dream house. Some people live it and some can only dream about it.

@@shaz2868 That is so true. My husband and I lived in apartments for the first 5 1/2 years of our marriage and I remember I would look at houses that were in retrospect quite modest compared to the one I own now and I just though it would be like a dream come true. Then again I remember living at home with my parents and wishing I could live in an apartment. I had always lived in a house and apartments seemed like the place where cool grownups lived. I can just about guarantee someone is looking at her place as their dream home. All we need to do next is enjoy it to the fullest.

I like the idea of the "main entrance" is into the kitchen. Family and friends coming to the home almost immediately gravitate to the kitchen and stay there. Trade people arn't usually salon or formal living fare room. Ones takes them straight away to the area of the house where they are needed. If there is to be a long or detail discussion it done at broad surfaces like kitchen island, large peninsula or large dinning table. It's not a social situation. I would love to change the entrance to my home. It's a 55+ development of single homes (approx. 8 different designs). Some of the homes were poorly placed on the lots without care of home privacy. My front door is 4 feet from my neighbors kitchen/breakfast room wide floor to ceiling sliding door. Now with the tree gone it makes for some unnecessary awkward moments for them and when one is at my front door. Wistfully I would be selected to be on the Drew Brothers Forever Home Show. Loved your comments/reasoning as much as your lovely sofa and rug. Thank you & Stay Safe.

I love the idea of the gated garden entry to your house as well. I wish we did that more in the USA. They do it in Mexico too. We probably couldn't do it in our neighborhood where there are so many restrictions. Front yards get so little use, but a gated front garden would get constant use. We have a beautiful front with a porch swing and I have literally never sat there, because it just doesn't feel right. If we had a gated garden area between us and the road and other houses I know I would sit there all the time. We also have this cute little area to the left of our porch if you are facing the house that would be so nice for a private garden. But I know the neighborhood association would have a fit if I wanted a gated front yard.
