I bought this car in summer of 2020. With only 18k miles. Im in love witht this car. I intend to keep it forever!

The exterior lights look great on this car, but I'm not a fan of the white gauges, the bit of blue helps, but one thing they should really change is making the needles a different color than the gauges, it makes it easier to see at a glance and looks better.

Great video! I own this exact model and love it! The only thing I dislike about this model is the thermostat controls. It is nearly impossible to adjust any of the modules (ac, heat, defrost, etc.) without having to take your eyes off the road to do so. The small buttons are terribly designed. Whereas my 2009 Camry has the easiest to utilize climate control. 3 LARGE knobs that can easily be turned to adjust without have to look at them. Anyhoo.

You forgot to mention the most important lighting feature of all with the 2016 Toyota Avalon. It has ,"DRL OFF". ( Daytime Running Lights Off. ) A somewhat unique feature in Toyota is "DRL OFF". Honda and many others now have, "Forced Lighting". You CANNOT control lights. With Toyota, the driver has total control of the lighting. With other manufacturers, someone in Tokyo or Detroit has made that decision for you. It's nice to be able to turn off the Daytime Running Lights if you are waiting for someone at night or perhaps you go to a drive-in movie. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administation did a study on the effectiveness of DRL's and concluded they are NOT effective. Toyota gives their drivers the choice. Sadly, most others do not.

My question is how come when you turn the car on from the outside why can’t you get in the car and drive

I think I got finessed by my stealership on my 16 xle. I aint got a single led inside. puddle light? yeah right. those standard halogens on the low beams looked atleast 4500k. mines looked no more than 3500k had to replace every halogen with leds and got those turn signals changed to switchbacks, reverse changed to 50w whites. and ofcourse those halogens were given HIDS, cause leds would not cooperate with the 2 lens'.highbeams/drl was turned to a bright white LED. ill be looking to update to the 2019 touring model this December, but not at the dealership I went to.
