The lead singer is a superstar, reminds me of Gwen Stefani when she performs with No Doubt. Effortlessly charismatic. But the whole band is very cohesive and they each bring something unique.

Suzuka is such a vibe. Man she had me hooked onto the entire performance. All of these girls love what they do and that's what matters most. You need to love what you do to make an impact and connecting with with the crowd is very important and as evident from many videos they are able to do it

Their signing with 88Rising was the key, they know to promote. The US tour and the local interviews got them noticed. It Helped that they spoke decent English. All of this is plain time and work!!!

I'm understand the cultural constraints, but it's about time Japan start to relax about copyright infringement in order to facilitate exporting their talent. See how well it worked for South Korea regarding K-pop. Not that Japan culture isn't already a huge success throughout the world, but lots of things are a lot less accessible than normal-including concerts, because most bands are not marketed outside the country.

@@outwest1014 True, but Japan is a lot more restrictive. Sometimes J-bands only have teasers of their clips on KZfaq, no live performances, etc. That doesn't help with expanding outside the country.

@@ark9876 結構他の曲売れてるけどな。あと振り付け全部自分達で考えたのは表現力あると思う。ウケるとかバズるかは分からないけど、東京降臨とかも面白いし、自分は好きだけどな。個性はあるけど結果的にもバズってるのは素晴らしいと思う。昔でいうSPEEDみたいな感じで、解散してもまた違った方向でそれぞれ活躍できそうになるんじゃないかなとか思ってる。今はこのままどこまでも行ってほしいけど。洋楽の方が圧倒的に好きだけど、日本の音楽もこれから楽しみだな。

I remember seeing an edit of the koi geba mv back in 2021 and ended up watching the real mv out of curiosity. I really enjoyed it and hoped they became successful since they’re super talented. It makes me really happy that they are getting more popular and even promoted in the US. I wouldn’t have expected them to perform at Coachella but I’m happy they did they deserve all their success!!

AG and YOASOBI were two of my favorite sets the entire weekend, but I basically saw all the Asian acts and they all did well. As well as other music from other genres. That's why it's great to get a taste of everything at an event like this. A music fan first. There's room for all sorts of music in my catalog. 🙂

A very stern commanding voice with her low register! It's very powerful, yet comforting! Kanon and Mizyu providing that melodic bliss to our ears! Rin, gives us her captivating rapping! A great combination of singers!
