Custom Design. They're based in Newcastle and sell a large variety of stands. I actually have these same stands but in all black for my Salk Silk speakers, and they made a huge improvement, particularly to the bass clarity. They also look great IMO.

You need a real amp with loudness and tone controls apart from the punch, sound stage, stereo imaging, boldness, low end grip, etc. All speakers are pretty much similar, magnet, voice coil and cone, it's been invented hundreds of years ago. Smh at the people who think the speakers are the most important item of a setup

Your argument is specious. Amplifiers were also invented around the same time as speakers, and were obviously required for any sort of loudspeaker. Tone controls are not necessary for a speaker that measures well. Given speakers produce the actual soundwaves, they most definitely are the most important part of a setup. However, I agree that amplifier and DAC or source quality are also very important... rubbish in, rubbish out.
