I know a lot of people don't watch trailers and teasers for songs and albums beforehand, in order to be surprised, however, with this ATEEZ album, you kinda need to ;) The album trailers are like preludes, creating the setting for the story, that the entire album is. When you go chronologically through the album, from Propaganda' to 'New world' you realize that the album is like a book. Each song is like a chapter in the book. 'Guerilla' is actually part of point of no return, the climax of the story 😅 It's super interesting! and personally I haven't come across anything, so worked through before. I've experienced groups having songs and mv's telling a story and we have the BTS world with the time traveling Jin, but none of that has been so well and so througoutly done, as ATEEZ has made with this album, this lore. It's mindblowing, to be able to create a so thought through and complex story like this, through music. Also a little heads up, ATEEZ has this thing with their MV's, as Marvel do with their movies. They have 'post credit scenes' that gives a hint of the next 😉

It's actually not an old white man...lmao although I love that. He is their "mentor." They had two mini films that definitely continued their story. And the old man is helping them break the hold that what I can only assume be the "white giants" have on society. In the two videos you can hear Maddox say "Wake up World." Not to mention their is a recording that is played that everyone is "listening" to, possibly controlling them. You can hear a man say over and over, "Never doubt yourself, never question youself." And at the end of the video, ATEEZ is able to change what they are repeating to and all u hear at the end of video is "Always, Question yourself." So at the end of this video, I love our guys for putting in epilogs in all the videos. But the young man u see is the first one to "Question himself, and realizes its time to find the truth...and the guys are watching him leave the school. Now add to that, our guys always release two songs back to back on every comeback...I don't think this is over...I just want to know which song is next, "Cyberpunk" or maybe "Propaganda?" Well which ever presents they go with, I know it's going to be frickin amazing...no doubt in my mind!!!! Sorry about such a long post. But I hope the info helps.

Ateez is literally on another level entirely. With this comeback they reinvented themselves. They gave us one half-mv length trailer and a whole-mv length trailer for this comeback. They legit made an entire fucking movie to give us a look into the world their comeback is set it. The Prestige Academy is a place where young people get brainwashed by the elite of the dystopian society and Ateez literally hacked into their system to break the control and reinstall free will, self expression and creativity into the minds of the youth. The old man helped them on their journey as an advisor and prepared them for the consequences of their attack on the elite. And that boy sneaking out in the sneak peak for the next MV at the end is probably the first to have broken free from the brainwashing. Not only is this comeback the most impressive one I've ever seen in my 8 years of being a kpop stan but it's also utterly unique. KQ, the production team and ATEEZ have made a BIG leap of faith with this and by god did it pay off. They won six awards with Guerilla, more than with any other song they've put out yet (which is a massive shame and betrayal in itself). But it's not just Guerilla. It's the entire album. If you wanted to make an entire movie with a comprehensive storyline but as a music album, it would be The World Ep.1: Movement. Which makes it also the most unique album I've ever listened to. And the way they combined the anarchy symbol with their group logo in the mv is just the cherry on top of everything. ATEEZ are the leaders of the 4tg gen. The people just have to yet realize it.

Inshort they basically fighting against a corrupted system, where the system tells common people to not question anything and just feeds them lies after lies. They also banned music or any kind of artistry. Basically common peoples are becoming robots with no emotion, no thoughts, no judgements, no opinions. So they are trying to bring back music as a protest. And that old white man is helping Ateez to do that. At the end the kid seems like the first common man who are influenced by the protest and wants to go against the system with Ateez.

The end will make more sense after watching the trailers for this era that were released earlier in July. I was confused too!!!!
