San actually choreographed this together with BB Trippin, his performance is always so expensive. I tried watching this in my car when it released and I had to stop cause I looked so stupid freaking out 😂

He choreographed it with another couple of people and he worked on it for around 6 months, he’s a perfectionist, I’m really so proud of him. Also, he looks incredible and the behind the scene was almost worse 😂but also you can see how involved he was in it and how much effort he put in

Thanks for the reaction! I agree 100% with how him being shirtless became a complement to the performance and not the main focus of it. San has this amazing ability to give you the complete experience of a performance in a 3+ min range. He gives you dance, facial expressions, acting, interaction, defined body lines, etc... He gives you that power and makes you feel as if you were part of the story. That's why I really loved that he decided to put out a whole performance instead of just a dance video, cause we were able to see him in every element.

Thank you for reaction to this. A couple of things I've learned. One, I absolutely agree with you that this is quite the stunning dance piece. When I first watched this I thought of how San had no dance training when he first arrived at KQ and members occasionally mimic his audition. Well, practice makes perfect. This piece is stunning, animalistic (they reminded me of a wolf pack with San as their leader the "Alpha") and marks another step in his growth as an artist. He is the first of Ateez to receive a choreography credit. He held a couple of lives shortly after this was released in which he discussed the origins of the story and the dance, my 1st grade level Korean translated the inspiration for this as having come from a Video Game and a character named Saurin(?). Others maybe able to tell you more in depth info. Essentially he was a powerful person (a wizard?) who lost his power and found a way to get it back. He filmed this during a break in Ateez's schedule. I love that he gave a full credit to each of the dancers and it was done "western style" First name first. . . . He said he received a lot of helpful guidance from the BBTrippin dance crew both as they polished the choreo, and on the day.The dancer given the highlight near the end (the leap) is the dancer in who normally covers San's dance part when they are creating choreo - he had been especially helpful during the creation and recording of this cover. The title of the piece is really interesting to me. It isn't credited as San at all, but rather "Ateez: [Special Clip] ATEEZ(에이티즈) 산 'Imagine Dragons - Warriors' Performance Video". He didn't choose to single himself out in the title for some reason. Whatever the instinct was I salute it.
