I think why Hongjoong might feel like such a standout is bc they all rely on him so much as their Captain. they trust his judgement and I think he just words things the best. to me, the seem to share the same sentiment and goals for the group. they're one of the few groups that i believe can achieve their big dreams because they all want it and are willing to go after it together. so they let him speak for them all. also could be a language barrier thing since he's the best english speaker. apparently they also did like 6 interviews that day, so some of them could just be tired lol

San Is Indeed a very positive role model. He joined the company knowing little to nothing about dance and his hard work makes him the incredibile performer he is now, but you will never catch him ranting about his abilitis, he always says he wants to improve and show better performances. San has the manners of a gentleman, whoever he Is speaking to, he is always kind and considerate. Of course he is also playful with his members, sometime he would tease them, but most of the time is the other way around. For all these reasons he is a role model not only for us atinys, but also for other trainees and idols.

Yeosang is now an MC for a music show and I think just having to be on camera so much and talk with other artists has helped him quite a bit. It is a little bit like watching them grow up before our eyes.

You definitely are correct about the whole San and Wooyoung friendship! They're super close for sure and always talk about it. It's also very common and accurate from what you mentioned, that San definitely appears to seek Woo's attention, while Wooyoung does like to play hard to get (his words not mine😂)! But I mean of course there are always times when Woo seeks San's attention first as well and stuff like that! They have a great friendship, but I mean so do all the other members! I really do love Ateez's relationships! They all seem to really love and care for one another and its so amazing to see!

7:38 actually Jongho is the oldest in his family and when he joined Ateez he became the youngest, so maybe that's why you're getting that feeling of him independent and on his own because before being in Ateez he really doesn't know how to be the youngest and now he has 7 older brothers

"san's a great guy" he really IS, he's one of the most sweetest, humblest and kindest guy ever! I might be biased because he's my bias but I think if you see a few videos or footage of him, you'll see how genuine he is. He is very lovely and pure, and I, too, believe he is a really good role model for us atiny fans and even for other idols 💖 btw thank u for reacting to ateez, love to watch this kind of videos!

When it comes to Jongho, he is the youngest of the group yet he is very mature as he is the oldest of his siblings. He also has difficulty in showing his true feelings and thus expresses his affection to the members in different ways. He tends to keep an air of professionalism and tends to control himself whenever he is on like these types of interviews, thus causing him to become more disconnected as most of the group during this type of thing. This being said, ateez has mentioned that whenever jongho first joined, they didn't know how to act with him until wooyoung came along. Which is why jongho is really close to wooyoung (wooyoung is the 2nd youngest), he's also close with mingi (he once asked mingi to marry him..... im sorry i had to say it) and san Interestingly enough these four are the four youngest in ateez. You can really see their chemistry more in like fanmade videos and things that aren't interviews/ promotional content. Secondy when it comes to yunho, hongjoong said that if he wasn't the leader then it would be yunho. The guy actually has a lot of confidence and a great sense of humor. this is much more obvious in their korean content. I think one of the reasons he seems so unconfident is because of the english, otherwise he's like that typical older brother that would tease you and the like, yet take care of you a lot too. That being said yunho really is a puzzle piece as you mentioned. So it really is hard with him. anyway this comment is really long so sorry about that.

Even though Jongho is really Young, he has the old soul persona... Also the same age thing matters a lot in korean culture and other hyungs in ATEEZ have their same age buddy except Jongho. I guess those played a role in his presence. That doesn’t necessarily mean he has a bad bond with the group The bond in ATEEZ is really special but their own persona is really Visible. I think this is a good thing.

Oh don't worry about Jongho XD he's the maknae so he gets babied a lot and he doesn't hate it😂 they're all super close and the others are super proud of him. In interviews it does seem like he's a bit more disconnected but "off camera" you can just feel how much he loves the others

As a hardcore atiny, i will give just some tip. not to spoil you about them. Seonghwa - he’s the oldest, goofy but mature at the same time. He’s like the mother of the group and super close with all of them, especially to Hongjoong. Hongjoong - the leader and he leads in english interviews because he’s the most fluent but he makes sure that everyone is answering also, then translates them to english. Yunho- one of the most playful and loud. but in interviews, Yunho is just listening and answers if he needs to. But if in food interviews, he leads. haha. Best friend of Mi ngi. Yeosang- he is the shyest but now he gain confidence as he is an MC of a music show. He’s bestfriends with Wooyoung. San- he is the hype man. One of the loudest. but he observes also before talking. They trust their captain so much. Bestfriends with Wooyoung too. Mingi - he’s one of the chaotic also. You will know them more in variety shows. Mingi is good in english also but compared to hongjoong or san, he’s hesitating so he’s usually quiet in english interviews. Wooyoung - he laugh all the time but sometimes he’s quiet. He’s not afraid to show if he’s tired or not. Thats what i like about him. The loudest one of the group. Jongho- he is babied all the time but he’s mature also. He is the youngest but he’s the oldest in his family so he has an old soul. But he love all his hyungs. everytime they want him to choose between them, he’s not choosing. They cherish jongho a lot. All the members are soo close. Like a family. They always say that, they dont treat each other as friends only but as a family.

San is a wonderful person, he probably has the highest emotional intelligence of the group, he's very considerate, earnest and has unshakable ethics.

For Jongho, Ateez themselves at first found very difficult to understand jongho because he never act like the youngest and seemed mature than them though they were eldest. Jongho said the main reason his he had been trainee from very young age and changed companies so he know more things than the members who relatively new to the industry or less active than him. So when they act very cool and fun jongho found it difficult to join them because he was always been so serious about his training and career. He is also not a open person and rarely shares his emotions through words so unlike other groups where maknae be cute and close to their hyungs , Ateez always struggled to know what the hell is in Jongho mind. So it's not that they have least bond or relationship. Its just Jongho was built that way. Jongho often said he was always grateful to the members because it was hard for them but still they always approach him first and as days passed they know what he needs or thinks just by the way he looks. Jongho always had a fear that his efforts will not be appreciated because of his long trainee days but after joining Ateez members understood him and often make sure jongho knows that they loves him and grateful for him being in the team. Though Jongho doesn't act like youngest Ateez just treat him like the youngest.They always baby him and assure him that he can rely on them afterall they are the eldest. Jongho may seem mature but him and Yeosang are the most funniest in the group.Jongho always been close with Mingi, playful with wooyoung also yeosang had been taken care of Jongho silently. But as a group these days Jongho gets along well and more open to them than before and even has a bucket list to go on trip with his members and have fun without cameras. That's how Jongho had the best character development in Ateez.❤️

Ateez members have a really peculiar relationship with eachother. One of my favorite relationship in the group is Wooyoung and Yeosang's. Both have almost opposite personality but go really well together. Unlike Wooyoung and san's relationship where they are very openly affectionate towards each other, Wooyoung and Yeosang don't have to be really affectionate to recognize how much they mean to eachother. They've also been friends for almost 9 years now. For Jongho, I do feel like he's not as close with the others as the other members are with eachother but that seems to be changing now and he seems to be getting closer to Wooyoung and seonghwa now

For San and Wooyoung, they actually have matching friendship tattoos and Wooyoung calls San his soulmate. For their dynamic, Wooyoung is usually all over San or plays hard to get so San chases after him haha.

san gives me fatherly aura as well despite how soft and baby he is most of the times😆 he just has that reliable and comforting side to him that is similar to a father🥺

You know Seonghwa even said (if I'm not mistaken) "if Hongjoong is not the leader, I don't think (the group would work well)" I can't remember how he phrased it and he said he can't remember the exact words as well but he remembers how he strongly disagree with the idea of Hongjoong not being the leader. (He said this in one of their MATZ vlives)

San really surprised me when I went to their concerts in LA. His energy was very big? And wholesome. During the quick meet after the concert, I noticed how the made sure to acknowledge and look at everyone who was walking by. He also made sure his body was facing them too since we were all walking by them pretty fast (You mentioned it and I just connected the two 😄) Yeosang has grown so much I'm so proud of him!! His MC Position on music show really helped his growth :)

You are right about all the members! But i wanna talk about Wooyoung, his role is really big in Ateez. Firstly yes he is really charming and indeed Mr. Social 😄 He has tons of friends from other groups and Hongjoong once said that if it weren't for Wooyoung, Ateez wouldn't be this close now. About Jongho, he was the second last member who joined Ateez and Wooyoung was the last one. The members said that Jongho only started to feel at ease after Wooyoung joined Ateez and that Wooyoung allowed him to feel comfortable around the other members. Bc other members didn't know how to approach him since he is the youngest so when Wooyoung came, he was the same age as him so he approached him like a friend. Jongho said that he feels the most comfortable with Wooyoung. So yes, i think the reason why Jongho is like that has something to do with him being the youngest one. I believe Wooyoung is like a glue. Like San does in this video, all the members really dote on Wooyoung a lot. Even leader Hongjoong said the member he is closest to is Wooyoung. Yeosang, the most introverted member's closest friend is also Woo. I think these explain a part of their group dynamic a lot bc Mingi said Wooyoung is like a jewel and that after he came, groups' dynamic/image has changed a lot in a better way. U will see hongjoong taking the lead during eng interviews cause he is more fluent in eng than the others but when it comes to variety shows u will see the others take charge. They are pretty loud and wild during variety shows

Jongho is like the maturity one, the most calm and serios of the grupe but he have a great relantionship with all the members, its just like he is not caothic like the most of them, he is more like Yeosang

jongho is just very mature for someone who is the youngest like typically the youngest is the cute member but jongho has always been very mature and being from bit of an introvert and sports family and the oldest of the two brothers (blood) but I promise you when jongho or ateez are in hyber mode jongho can go really crazy and be so so so funny like omg his dad jokes go crazy 🤣🤣 and random bursts of energy like dancing and stuff

everything you say about san is 10 point! san is actually 4th gen artist who chosen as the role model by the other artists the most! and he often goes viral because of his good personality too 🥺 and yes san is really good at english, hongjoong also mentioned it. san and hongjoong are almost at the same level when it comes to english (san also good at japanese) but san never admits it so hongjoong just laughs and says no he’s good. one thing about san is his pronunciation is the best it always nice to listen to his beautiful english and also he understands english well but acts like he doesn’t to give credit to hongjoong. it happens a lot. when hongjoong translates, he acts like he doesn’t know but in fact he knows. he did it before in one of their interviews but he already knew the word and was using it a lot of times before so we exposed him like you already knew it san we saw you used that word😂 ~ hes just so humble and when you said san is like a father, hongjoong actually chose san as the captain. san is like a co-captain when it comes to their relationship each other

They really take the 8 Makes 1 Team serious, I love them so much. And San is my ultimate bias, I really adore this man. The funny thing about Jongho, he's the oldest out of his siblings, but he's the youngest in Ateez.

Don't you worry about Jongho. He loves and adores the members, he's just not used to being the youngest because he has a younger brother. He is actually one of the funniest members of ATEEZ and really enjoys watching his members goof off. You can tell in other videos that he genuinely loves his 7 crazy, older brothers. He doesn't normally show his emotions because that's just not who he is. Even his own mother is like that. Jongho is babied a lot and secretly loves it, in fact, he gets away with a lot of things because he is so cute. Yeosang is another one that's extremely quiet because he is an introvert and very shy. He has a very quirky personality. Every group has a 4D member (someone who has a weird or unique personality), and that is Yeosang. Yunho is known as the "Golden Retriever" or the "Vitamin" in ATEEZ. The vitamin of a group is in charge of keeping the atmosphere positive and happy. He's known as the golden retriever because he has a very puppy like look and personality, but also he can be mischievous.

San isn't my bias but can definitely confirm that he's one of the kindest most sincere idols! As for Jongho it could be partly because he is the youngest in ATEEZ but is the eldest in his family so he's not as used to the position (on the flipside Seonghwa is the youngest of his family but eldest in ATEEZ), plus none of the other members are the same age as him... however they definitely still all mesh well together and are super close! About Hongjoong being the leader you're absolutely right that he was the best possible leader for ATEEZ, before debut Seonghwa actually said that if Hongjoong wasn't the leader there was no point in ATEEZ, showing how much he and the other members trusted in Hongjoong. Really loved your reaction but I do agree also that this was a bit less like their usual energy most likely due to the language difference, so I highly recommend watching this interview with GQ Japan as well! You always have San spot on he is a great guy! He’s a really genuine caring person who looks after his members a lot when they’re sick/injured he’s just always there for everyone and quite a lot of rookie idols have named him as their role model and someone they look up to and his seniors really love him to... He has said that when he first meets people/other idols that he is told he’s hard to approach/intimidating because of his powerful onstage persona and his sharp features,he is very misunderstood he acknowledges it but once they get to know him they realise he is a really kind person. He is really comforting and has a way with words, a lot of atinys(ateez fans) say that he is their safe place and he always treats us like we’re his best friends and makes us feel loved. My first impression of him was how good of a performer he is through his fancams but his personality made him my bias:)

I don’t really know how you figured it out but it’s true that Wooyoung and San are close with each other! And you also got their dynamic right, San tends to take care of Woo, he is always so attentive and protective towards him. While Woo is more like the cool guy who jokes with San a lot and make fun of him. But there are also times where Woo is more affectionate while San plays hard to get! It’s so fun to watch those two, every time I watch them it really seems like they found their soulmate in each other!

I really agree with what you said about Wooyoung making others feel important. He personally reminds me of Jhope with how he makes it a point to engage individually with each member. He's the best hypeman you can get in the sense that he genuinely supports you and brings you up and you can tell he's not saying that just for the camera or to make you feel good. He's the member I feel connects the group because he has amazing chemistry with each and every one of them and he always brings spotlight to the others as well through his interactions. He's very personable and likeable and though we mostly only see his annoying side, you can tell he's a kind and genuine person that always gives back. Honghjoong once mentioned that if it weren't for Wooyoung, the members wouldn't be as close and you can see the truth of that if you watch their other content. He's really the glue of the group and is a very affectionate person in general. If he were in some other group, I can see his leadership shining through more.

One of the things that I've seen said about San, and that i've noticed even more after, is that he looks at the rest of the boys with his heart in his eyes! he makes sure to love them no holds bared and I think it's really admirable of him! wooyoung is also super good at this (except when he's teasing everyone within an inch of their lives and "playing hard to get" ahah)

Yes, we love our Captain HongJoong! He's said in the past that he used to be very focused on leading ATEEZ "from the front" by being a spokes person, setting examples for/policing behavior, etc. But now he feels it's better to lead "from behind" and he tends to encourage the members in areas they would shine/give them opportunities for growth. JongHo started his vocal/idol training very young so I wonder if his grooming makes him seem more reserved (SEEMS being the operative word. This boy is just as wild as the others behind the scenes 😂 There is no normal person in ATEEZ though JongHo and YeoSang think it's them.) Also, he is the youngest of the group but the oldest of his biological siblings and the hierarchy of age is very important in Korean culture. Even if it's just by a few months, the older ones are expected to take care of the younger and the younger show deference to their elders. The small age group in ATEEZ shows each member shifting between these roles very fluidly depending on who's present and it is a trip. Also yes, I think most of their reserve/disconnect is due largely to language barrier. MinGi has expressed that he studies/tries hard with English but isn't very confident in it despite his skill level being on par with the group as a whole. You almost always see him intently looking off camera during interviews when people are speaking in English and I assume that's to a translator.

Yunho is so nice kind friendly guy. I just love how he’s reactions are so real and he tries to pay attention to everyone. I was so surprised when I saw him in person this year his positive energy is just glowing. And you’re right he has a good sense of humor too! I’m sure that we gonna see him getting more and more confident and comfortable with himself in a short time.

1. Thank you for this great video! I love when you analyze Ateez. 2. I always feel like Ateez` true characters are turned down 30 % in english interviews. They often look behind the camera and not at each other - maybe because somebody is holding up a translation? They are much noisier and less stiff in korean content too. I watched the "10 Essentials | GQ JAPAN" interview after the "Wired"- video and felt a real difference regarding their communication. 3. Jongho once admitted that sometimes he feels like everybody has something like a sub-unit in Ateez, except him. He has a complicated role as the youngest, who simultaneously is the main vocalist. I could imagine, because he carries such a big responsibility, he does not like to undermine that by playing the role of the "baby". He takes his art very very seriously. 4. I am so jealous because of the location you are staying at... Have fun!

I think Jongho tends to present himself in a more professional and closed off way when it comes to interviews which might be why you sense a disconnect. Despite being the youngest he’s always been one of the most mature members in the group, so I think I’m these kind of interview settings he tends to be more serious and focused. I think Jongho is one of those idols who tends to act a certain way in interviews, variety shows, and performances depending on where he is. I think he’s just as close with the other members (especially with Yeosang & Wooyoung) but Ateez is a group that is full of people who express their affection through physical affection while Jongho is one of the only members who doesn’t and prefers to express his affection through words and actions. The more you watch their content outside of official interviews and more of their lives, Jongho is extremely witty and has a very good sense of humor and teases the older members a lot. I think those moments are when you truly feel Jongho is the youngest of the group.

I really NEED you to do an analysis of some of their videos without it being a formal interview, Yunho's analysis was perfect, in videos where they are in a more intimate environment he loosens up much more and to be honest he is one of the most loud in the group There is this duality in him and in Mingi too

This video was such a good showcase of Hongjoong. You can just tell that he's always very observant of the others and where they're at, as well as knowing which questions certain members will show off or endear the others (like bringing Seonghwa in with the visual question). You mentioned the nature of the questions being more quickfire and I thought that was interesting because I couldn't figure out before why this interview felt a little 'off' other than some of them being less confident in english, but some of the members do shine more when things are interactive or involve more storytelling. I'd love to see a reaction/comparison with the GQ '10 Essentials' video that's been released. From their outfits you can tell that it was filmed on the same day as this, but it's an entirely different vibe and you can tell they feel a lot more comfortable. There's a lot more joking and goofiness (you get a lot more of Yeosang's humour coming through) and feels a lot less stilted. It would be cool to see a reaction to something where you get to see more of their dynamic like the Wanted variety special they're uploading on their channel.

San is literally the definition of gentleman, honestly his parents did a really good job at raising such a guy...also regarding the stories that San had told us about his dad he seems like a great man too. like father like son

Actually he never acknowledges how good his English is, even tho he's the best along with hongjoong 5:05 he's my bias, and one of the best things i like about him is how humble he is. About the role model thing, san is actually a role model of A LOT of rookie idols, a lot of them mention ateez and specifically him and when fans tell him about it he always says he will work even harder to be a good role model

Mann i teared up hearing your thoughts about san😭 BIG YES he is a very very great and humble guy. He is always mention when other people talks about ateez staffs, camera directors love him so much. This guy has a very gentle soul and big heart

Woo young and SAN’s personalities compliment each other. Wooyou g loves attention and engagement and san is very good at providing that happily. They hype each other up and appreciate each other’s friendship.

Yhhh San is my bias!!! He is known for having the biggest glow up (Hongjoong recently wrote that he thinks san has grown the most since debut) because he used to be known for kinda just being cute, but he's defo become more confident (singing, dancing and everything else) He himself was always self conscious about his self esteem (like on a serious level), and kinda still is - I think that's why he's so humble. OOOO and Yunho is definitely one to check out you previously said he's sweet and he genuinely is but he's one of the quirkiest members too, always hypes the group bringing happiness to the members making them laugh and changing the mood:))))

This was another interesting watch, thank you for the reaction! Idk if you’ve seen any of their Korean interviews or shows but it really showcases more of their dynamic. They’re all much much more talkative and interactive and don’t rely so much on captain Hongjoong to keep the interview flowing. Yunho is actually hilarious as is Mingi, and is also the members pick for leader if Hongjoong wasn’t there, which says something about his confidence and the members belief in him. Jongho is the youngest but is the oldest in his family so his independent aura makes sense here, he even admits that it took a while for him to get used to having 7 older brothers take care of him lol. Also in another interview the members confirmed that Yeosang is the shyest member, but Jongho is the shyest between the members!

I completely agree on your observation of yunho and jongho. They both add so much to the group and have a great presence. Yunho imo tho does have a goofy playful sense of humor that makes him seem awkward at times (esp with their more mature group concepts). If yunho begins to get more individual or prominent roles in media and ateez I can see his confidence growing (similar to Yeosangs confidence boost from MCing and working out). Jongho I think is put in an awkward spot because he is a phenomenal singer. He also is the youngest with no other same age friends in the group. These are not bad things, but having lead singing roles (high notes) and being the youngest must be a weird power dynamic for him and the group to navigate at times. Additionally, I think he lacks confidence for what he can bring to the table besides singing. He has so many great qualities that he himself seemingly hasn't recognized yet. The downside of being so passionate at what you love (for Jongho singing) is that you starve all the other parts of your social life/personality sometimes. I say that in reflection of my own journey with being an artist and painting. All of this is just my opinion tho! I love them so much, and ateez wouldn't be ateez without them. They will grow into themselves and confidence in due time! ❤

When reacting to K-pop idols I really recommend u to watch Korean interviews/shows instead bcuz most of the time the members feel uncomfortable in English interviews bcuz of language barrier so they don’t act like what they usually do. So u won’t really be able to see their bond and how they are actually in rl.

you're right about san! he's my role model actually, i aspire to be like him in every way. i wish people would appreciate him more for being such a good, humble, loving person rather than just his on-stage persona edit: also i agree with yunho being a little awkward but i've realised that he's mostly like this during interviews... i swear once you get to know him all you'll see is him twerking, he is genuinely one of the funniest people ever

Yes yunho is really aware of himself, recently he said in their show that he can't really tell the others what he really wants to tell to them. It made me sad. I can feel him. When i was in highschool, i kinda like him.

Absolutely loving this Channel :) Yess Woo and San biased ! 🥳 I also love Yuhno , he's such a sweetheart, these 3 are deff my biases although all of the members are super cool and they are all charismatic and charming in their own way and depending on the situation ! What you said about Jongho is interesting :) i think he is deffinetely connected with the group but he does have a more grounded down to earth personality that can make him look a bit more distant , but he's a sweatheart and he's certainly a mature maknae :) What I love about Honjoong as a leader is that he knows how to acompany and be there for the team without having to stand out as a leader all the time , he's just present the whole time having the members backs but he also gives space to the others to shine and let out their personalities :)

God u hit the nail on the head about San, he's not my bias (well honestly all i are) but San is such a good good guy. Like even when dealing with problematic stalker fans, he is so respectful and kind I've honestly never seen an idol who is genuine and kind.

What you say is always so accurate!! About San and Wooyoung's friendship, Hongjoons leadership, Yeosang's energy and Jongho's maturity - I agree with it all! As a fairly new atiny I am still learning new things about them too, so watching your videos is always great because I can hear your thoughts and ideas about them 🙌🏻 Choosing a bias is so difficult for me with this group though haha, although San, Hongjoon and Mingi definitely stand out for me. 6:42 it may seem like it, but they all actually have a soft spot for jongho, he is the youngest among them, and they always even in interviews say how he is their pride, that he is ateez's secret weapon. Jongho is someone who is not that clingy, but they all treasure him so much

I've always felt like in earlier interviews that Yunho was a "little" bit cautious or awkward in front of the camera which I kinda relate to. But I've noticed though that there's been a sudden shift in his confidence ever since he played one of the leading roles in a k-drama called Imitation. The acting experience has really boosted his confidence.

Jongho is the youngest so he has certain cultural protocols to follow. Rules etc. also he is the oldest in his family while the other guys are the middle or youngest kids in theirs. Ateez is the next biggest thing in the music industry. Mark my words

One of the things that attracted me to Ateez was how similar their dynamics were to those of BTS and that Hongjoong's leadership reminded me a lot of Namjoon's.

I've been a fan of many kpop groups, and even though San isn't my bias in ATEEZ, he became my role model. He is just so nice, poilte, kind, real, and natural with all that, I just want to be that kind of friend and person.

You're getting to know them better and saying their names better too. The eo in Yeosang's name is the same vowel as ou in Wooyoung's name (여). We don't have the same sound in English, but it's kind of between the o in song and the u in sung. Thanks for the commentary!

What you said about Jongho sounds so much like what I’ve definitely heard from Dino of Seventeen. He is also the maknae and he has spoken on camera to how much he wants to prove, how his Hyundai don’t mind babying him, but somehow that makes him need to try harder. Not saying they are the exact same, but it might be somewhat similar.

Yes San is definitely MY BIAS!! I love his voice and dancing skills but also his personality is so genuine and adorable!! I love these analysis videos! Always looking forward to them!! If I were to recommend another group i'd say maybe NCT Dream! I saw them live at their concert and they were all extremely hyped and engaged. I love the leader, he can’t hide his feelings, and I think he is a little bit of a control freak, but he does an amazing job with his members. Yeosang, Mingi and Jongho surprised me the most because in interviews they seem quiet and shy, but in person they are not, at ALL😂.

At first I started watching these videos for the kpop idols but now I’m just as invested in Max’s energy! He just has a really good likable vibe lol

I feel like some of them are definitely quieter in the American interviews just to let those confident with english to be in control. They're all good at english though. They spent a lot of time doing online fansigns and they've been studying hard. I think if you want to know more about Jongho, Yeosang, Yunho and Mingi then you need to watch content where its just them having fun. Yunho is probably one of the most chaotic and loud members but I think he stays calm during American interviews. Yeosang is definitely one of the quietest in general but over the last maybe 18 months he defo has gotten a lot more confident. Its been amazing seeing him be more willing to be in the spotlight and handle things (he's now a MC on the Show).

San has a good role model in the person of his father and he reflects him so much, both in appearance and personality. All the guys love his father and Wooyoung even mentioned that San's father is his role model. San would definitely make a good father in the future.

i think if you're looking to analyse, it really makes more sense to analyse interviews or moments that are mostly in korean and/or moments that are more casual. jongho jokes around with the group but it's usually in a more sardonic way that definitely comes out more when he's speaking korean. same with hongjoong; in english interviews, he takes on majority of the responsibility of translating because he is the most proficient in english. context/setting is absolutely everything - although i'm sure you know that already :) in any case, thank you for posting the cut reactions for free. it's greatly appreciated and they're very fun to watch

I think kpop idols are awkward in English interviews they are more relaxed when they are in Korea

11:31 good call, they are best friends, they call each other soulmates and even have a tattoo together, so you will always see them together. They're also the loudest in the group, when hongjoong is asked who listen to him the least, he always says its the two of them, that they are inseparable and when they are together is chaos lol

love your videos like always, thank you for reacting to ateez again, what I personally think is that ateez are much more reserved in interviews (especially American ones) so people who don't really stan them only get a glimpse of their personalities, trust me that once people watch their own content will get a whole different impression of them 😂

Yeosang has developed his confidence a lot last year, I think. He was (and still is) participating in a Korean program as one of the MCs and I believe that a different environment with different people loosened him a bit more 🥺 I hope he develops even more !
