I went back and watched each member individually through the video. Here's what I found: Yunho and Jongho are very technical. They hit each movement precisely and evenly, but sometimes lack the power of other members. Yeosang and San are extremely powerful. They put everything they have into every single move, all the way to their fingertips. Hongjoong is very fluid, moving from one move into the next easily. However, this fluidity causes him to occasionally lack some of the crisp movements of the other members. Mingi is sweetly graceful, even in the ways that he moves his neck. Seongwha and Wooyoung are a combination of technical and powerful. They are mostly technical and precise throughout the song, but they also really know how and when to turn it on, such as in the final dance sequence. Each member has strengths and weaknesses, and together, they are unstoppable. I love Ateez!

Came across Halazia in the last week or so, having never heard Ateez before. Had it on repeat for the last three-ish days straight, but only started paying attention to the MV today. I noticed something in that wonderful, visual masterpiece that I want to bring some much-earned appreciation to. 3:07-3:08. A split second, but the depth is INSANE. Without going into a huge rant about color palette and placement, area of focus, and other things no one but me (an artist) cares about, I want to appreciate the moment for what it is. The front row tilting to the side and stilling, bringing attention to the back row's movement was just a subtle piece of focal redirection without deviating from the choreo as a whole and really elevated it. A work of art, truly. 13/10.
