What do you mean with limited amount of time in a day? Yea the day is limited but it's not like the days run out, you can go goof around for weeks in game-time, it's not like Persona where things will happen if you don't prepare. You can take all the time in the world - even when you are in a "race" you can decide "nah..." do something else for 4 hours, come back and still win the "race".

The game is currently on sale so i think im going to buy it. Im probably in the minority who is only interested in the game because of the smooth and satisfying combat combined with the intricate alchemy mechanics rather than the EXTRA THICC kind of shit.

I still miss the ps2 Atelier games.

When you said that the battle system was like ATB I was immediately turned off. I fucking hate ATB. In action games you have less options to speed up the flow and make it more manageable. In turn based JRPGs you have a lot of options and a lot of time to think about which is the right decision. If you try to combine them both, it's not gonna end well. Plus, some games with the system have bad menu systems. Like FF7 has standard menu navigation instead of something like the Persona 5 or Cold Steel menu where a single button press brings up the menu for spells or tactics and whatnot. If you're gonna have an ATB battle system at least use menus that make sense. That's just my opinion though.

Is this the switch version and yes it would of been great to have English voices as an option while keeping original too

This was my first Atelier game to ever play. Definitely relaxing to play. But, I prefer much deeper RPG games like Final Fantasy or Persona. For now, this is great to play through once and then move on. The sequel is coming out in 2021. Not going to invest in it.

6:25 No dub is always better. Why? Because translation is following closely original script instead being a shitty dub copy paste. As long as western publishers won't be doing dual script (one for garbo dub one with real translation) I'll shitting on dubs. Dubs are a blasphemy. Good for grade school kids.
