it's not so much an issue, but the game require a lot of button to play so people are having a hard time mapping the button. The game is highly recommended to be played with a controller, unless you are familiar with Emulator game and can put up with it.
@sakuraskye0024 жыл бұрын
Ya I just played last night and first thing I realized is that there is no mouse option and I had to map quite a bit of keys. It took me a good hour to finally find a comfortable/easy to remember key binds. This could be an issue when the game will require to use a lot more keys during combat so I did purchase a Xbox one controller today which feels a ton better. It’s unfortunate but it’s still worth it cuz.. thighs.

This was my first Atelier game. While the battle mechanics and alchemy system can seem very overwhelming, a few hours of letting the combat auto pilot while you push buttons, in addition to spamming the "high quality" autocraft button for alchemy, and you'll eventually figure it out enough to play the game effectively. Came for the thighs, stayed for the plot. And by plot, I mean Lila. In all seriousness, the game is worth the $60 price tag, and I don't say that much in the current age of gaming.

While I support the idea since I really loved the game, I highly doubt (like 99% doubt) they're gonna do it considering how bad Mana Khemia was received in Japan. The PTSD they got at that time was too strong that they won't dare touch it ever again, especially with how kinda badly the "Atelier series" is doing in the passing time. You had me the moment you said "they got rid of time limits" I played a few Atelier stories and noticed that the greatest flaw to enjoying the game was the time limit. I think I might give this game a chance.

I don't understand. What do you mean by time limit? I'm looking to try this game out
@niafarquem54024 жыл бұрын
Mr. Rogue in most of the atelier game, there’s time limit in each chapter or when you moved to new main quest. Meaning we’ll be given days/hours to finish the quest or main event. The time passes when we travel to the areas, when battling and also during alchemy. The more complicated the alchemy recipe, the more time it takes. In atelier rorona, the time passes even when you move to the next frame even in the same area. But you’ll eventually be able to create items that can reduce the amount of time passes. In some instalments, you can only choose certain events so you’ll need to choose which characters you want to know more and you won’t be able to view everyone’s story. I’m not sure how the other players feel but it really stressed me out. I feel like I can’t do anything carelessly because I won’t have enough time. I played atelier ryza and I enjoyed the freedom the game give me. I can also feel the depth of each characters because they have many interactions with each other as they traveled together. Each characters are great and I just in love with Ryza. She’s strong willed and fun which is different from atelier’s usual naive mc.
@niafarquem54024 жыл бұрын
If you’ve played other atelier series before, you’ll enjoy atelier ryza. But if it’s your first time with atelier, I hope you’ll have a good time playing it because for me, atelier is one of my favourite instalments because the concept intrigued me

I've been playing this series since the first game released in the usa. So much has changed. And while yes alot has changed we saw the rise of alchemy in the first three then in mana-kelemia we saw the fall of alchemy. And these last games since then how the fall has affected the world and how it was forgotten then it's slow rebirth. Each story is short but the overall worlds story is truly grand. I think I still have the first three games in storage. People should see how the original synthesis system was. That was a pain and more like a slot machine then skill.

My tight wallet is split between this and digimon cyber sleuth. Man so many good games for these past few months.

I play both games u mention. An 'A' rated game. If u have tight wallet, prioritize ur playstyle. Well, if u're jrpg lover u will want both ofc. Savings my allowance after Lulua since I saw Ryza graphics.

I would honestly say the game feels more like the PS2 era Atelier games. Which I think is too its benefit. It has a nostalgic feeling to it like I am playing Mana Khemia for the first time. If only they'd bring Mana Spirits back.

Just got my physical copy for the Switch tonight. Hoping all of the stuff that comes with the digital deluxe version will be avaliable for purchase separately.

I dont get why a game being short is a negative. Firstly I like being able to finish a game and so it being like at least 60 hours is too much. Secondly I think if the game is fun 10-20 hours still is plenty, after that I feel like alot of times games start getting tedious or the gameplay/story feel like its stretched just to make the game longer. I get some games have alot of story and so them being 60-100 hours feels natural, nothing wrong with that but it shouldn't be the norm imo

I'm sooooooo excited !!! I played my first 4 Ateliers on the PS3 and i loved it *-*... I'm looking forward to Ryza. .... just need to save some money :> i want too much games damn. The one thing i dont dislike but dont know sometimes makes me mad is the time limits but that is the Atliething like in Rorona i never had the time left i needed... so Did i understand it right ? That it doesnt exist in this new Atelier ?? (sorry im not native in english :>) If i understand it right ..im more hyped ~ I think i get this for the PS4 ... We'll see ~
