Hi guys, I'm Eileen. I found a new French luxury brand that's very much worth exploring! This video is not sponsored and I do not receive any commissions from sale. In fact, the brand didn't even ask for a review video but I think it is very deserving of one. At first I wasn't sure about trying out contemporary brands, seeing I already own a curated collection that I really enjoy. Well, I'm glad I gave it a shot. The bag is truly a good value piece-- it's well made, timeless, and priced very reasonably. I personally think the luxury landscape has been changing. I for one, have been trying to look at my bags with more sense of practicality. Do you think we should keep to Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel and alike when buying designer bags? xx

@@patriciaa65I mean people can and do just like a certain label or house. And so then they like those bags. There's nothing wrong with that either. There are only like six different bags and the differences are labels and prints.

@@leie6748 I get that but with certain labels the prices do not reflect the quality of the bag that is made, and one has to wonder why bother wasting money on something so expensive when it isn't going to last. Just my opinion. Not my money, not my problem.

I too, find that a strong magnetic clasp gives me peace of mind that I won't lose my valuables because of an error in closing my bag. Thank you for this review! I have been researching for a while, which mid range box bag to get. This one is a winner. I received it today, and it's a good everyday bag. Fits all my daily necessities. For the price, I feel good about not being too careful around it. Leather seems to be pretty resilient and not as smooth as other box leathers that can scratch easily. Also very lightweight. Love the strong magnet. Basically everything you mentioned. Best part... looks good with any outfit.

It’s a beautiful bag. I always like hearing about good quality contemporary brands that I have not encountered yet. I have been very impressed with the ones I do have so far from Aspinal Of London, Strathberry and Longchamp. I haven’t tried any American brands yet but brands like Tory Burch, Coach and Kate Spade have excellent republicans.

It’s the kind of bag that easily makes the transitions from day to night. I’m also 1,60m and have painful back so I much prefer smaller and lighter bags in styles that are usable daily. There are many bags that are gorgeous on the shelves but soon we realize they are too formal to use day by day and in the end we seldom reach for them.

Hi Eileen, this is such a beautiful bag of quiet elegance and very well priced and are interested in having a look at what this company produces. All accept 2 of my bags were packed away in their dust bags and put into storage in 2017 along with the rest if my house pack, I will not know what condition they will be in until my house pack arrives in France until 2024, pray that they will all be ok if not they will be sent to the restorers as some of them are vintage, Italian and a couple are from a maker that no longer exists. Thank you so much for all that you share about quite luxury. I've learnt such a lot and are very grateful. Cheers from Melbourne 😁

I’ve been eyeing the rounded version, similar to dior’s bobby bag. The metallic clasps was just introduced last year i think. I really wanted a pastel coloured one but there isnt any to choose from. I recently purchases the song bag from songmont. Today is the second time i use it and im pretty impressed with the quality.

Love this bag. Everyone keeps saying it's like the Celine box bag when we might as well say it looks like the Hermes Constance (which debut much earlier). I dislike Celine's bag base and prefer a solid flat base instead of those bags with pleats and sits on edges for a base. Thank you for this review!❤

Hi Eileen, thank you for showing us this bag. I really like this bag to use while going in public transit. I’ve always been scared of wearing my designer bags in public but this is an amazing alternative. It looks classic and looks well made. I tried to purchase the bag but unfortunately it’s sold out already 😕 hopefully it comes back in stock soon

Beautiful bag. Only negative point for me is the inside. I would need a zipped inside pocket. It seems so well made, it is a pity that they didn’t think about this detail.

Nice pick Eileen 👍 I too preferred the mini size over the full size (20cm vs 24cm) We’ve just travelled to South East Asia for a month & I needed a ‘low key’ bag to travel with. Found a nice camera bag from Oroton (old Australian brand) that was so affordable! Best of all, it was 50% off. Goes to show nice quality, understated leather bags don’t have to cost a fortune…

How does the leather compare to your high-end luxury bags? I can't afford high-end but have 1 preloved Givenchy and the leather is far superior (super supple despite being snooth calfskin, hard-wearing and scratch resistant) than my Coach and Kate Spades that I now want something in between.

Hi! recently stumbled upon this bag and I am very interested but not much review out there. How is the leather and hardware holding up? any creasing on the straps or the flaps? What about the hardware? Recently got the grace APC and as beautiful and structured the bag is, the hardware is like scratch magnet. I barely used it and the scratches are so prominent. I am hoping this one would be better because of the "aged" look on the hardware?

LV, Chanel, Hermes et al - I've been saying for years, ubiquitous and tired. Influencers have turned them into High Street brands. I would literally feel embarrassed and awkward carrying one. I still own a Gucci Soho Disco I bought around 2014. It's quite worn but a real work horse. I like Demellier London for its buttery soft leather.

Hi Eileen - If of interest, I'd love to see your review of luxury vegan bags. I eat a vegan diet and recently started researching bags that are high quality, interesting design, and aren't made from animal leather. Stella McCartney is well known for her vegan leather bags. I'm not sure who else is out there.

Seriously, I don't understand why everyone wants the same items. (OK, status symbols...) It's so boring that almost everyone wears the same thing. Creativity and the need to wear more unique things have almost disappeared from people.There are so many high-end products in the world, but everyone wants the same thing. For example, someone who can pay a fortune for a bag, which all rich people have, could also pay an artist to make a bag for her that no one else has. (If I were rich, I would pay mainly for unique or limited edition things, and I would support smaller manufacturers and artists, not big luxury companies.)
