Horus feels like it was built for God decks, it has everything you could want. Searches, infinite tributes, easy xyz access, and an Eygptian theme. Lines up perfectly.

I feels like they've intended it to be that way, but you know YGO players, if there's a way to break them they will and the result of it not having restriction to use as intended it goes everywhere it could, like generic Extra deck bosses. I mean, look at Baronne and Halq, pretty sure they were just intended to help their decks performing but ended up abused everywhere and getting banned.

@@MilenAnessar yeah cuz konami made them generic instead of archetype monsters , baronne should've had a fleur synchron + 1 non tuner synchro monster as material , but indeed i agree with u.

@@MilenAnessar But thats just Konamis fault to beginn with. If there is a very good generic Bossmonster you can summon that easy like Barone, it just make sense to play it, right? I am not mad that they get banned and I think Konami should stop making everything generic, but it's not the players fault. Yugioh needs more good Archetype related Bossminsters for sure.

That first game was sick! Luckily had the Maxx for the Evenly... However lately I have been encountering alot of turn 1 evenly's, other than Maxx, or having Ringowurm for the double lv10 synchro, how do you avoid Evenly or is it something Horus can quickly come back from as long as the 4 are still in the grave?

Now the ultimate question. Which of the gods pair best with Horus? Ra has the most support already, Obelisk is in a similar seat and Slifer can´t be searched but is a pretty damn good floodgate.

I see a lot of people play Horus and the just use mill cards to play slifer in the grave so he’s easier to special summon. And since most Horus monsters do well in the Gy it works out like 7 out of 10 times. If homie isn’t playing Dimension Shifter or some shit.

Love the dedication in that first duel to end it with Obelisk even though (unless i missed something) I'm pretty sure you could have attacked with one of the horuses. Also seems alot of people don't Read the King's Sarcophagus line about battling a Horus monster

I get it that every deck is using it. I just don't understand why Komani doesn't make specific support for the god cards similar to this. It pisses me off as OG player.

@@Miguelon88888 They just never learned, and maybe half of the fault is the players finding every exploit than using as intended too, look at Baronne and Halq wanting to help Fleur and Crystron but got abused everywhere then got banned, or Kaiju that instead of 1 on 1 Kaiju fight it just became way to remove opponent's monster and nobody using their S/T except Slumber because board wipe.

@panblu Konami is just stupid and lazy. That's exactly what we need and maybe a support card that gives obelisk lingering protection when you tribute summon it. You know what I always thought is giving obelisk a support card where you double it's attack and you can attack every monster lol. What a dream lol 😆 😅
