at this point, it's safe to say that the mercy period is almost over. especially for those that constantly use meta decks, and decks with combinations like Mikanka Labrynth.

Im a casual player but can you try soul servant send pharaonic advent to grave. Send two traps/spells to grave that being magic defense to revive pharaonic advent. either have dugares revive him, magic defense or play chaos phantasm to copy him and use itself as fodder. Then take tyrant throes and use navi to revive 2 dark magicians to lock opponent.. it aint competitive but maybe you can create or add cards that it might.. its fun to lock them and have eternal soul to revive dark magicians and link ladder to tenyi.. add in apophis to negate and have extra normal monster.. add in magical hats to create 2 normal summons for tyrant throes while sending traps like navi, magic defense etc to grave and revive dark magician and lock opponent.. its stylish and fun for content but it aint competitive 😂 add one aremasir adventure cont spell is fun too. Or shadow light magician soul to summon effect veiler to sychro summon formula and get a draw.. with magicians rod negated you can still synchro summon into junk speeder.. deck dont have much space but its nice to pull out 5 synchrons tuner and create something thinking your DM deck is done.

I used to like playing Silent Magician here and there in MD but ever since Foolish burial goods got hit, the little engine i used isnt worth the deck space anymore. Used to just foolish burial goods the silent burning spellcard so i can banish it from GY to search and add Silent Magician from deck to hand. It was a consistent way to see her in your duels.

Bro, Eternal Soul and Magician's Circle are so easy to pop, and are kinda essential for a Dark Magician deck to fight back. Anyways Magikuriboh is neat but the fact he needs you to take damage in order to trigger it makes it very situational when there are just better options to get Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl out on the field.

@@leoncoben6983 you need more ways to get DM & DMG bricks out of the deck as soon possible. Also DM field gets wiped or negated a lot so we need the extra protection from direct attacks as much as possible. Its fine for you to think this, I once thought this too about magikuriboh. I did a lot of testing & I know now it is needed.

@@joshuadansby2874 That's why I said there are better options. It's not useless in certain duels but if you're going first for instance it's just another brick. Be better to put in Curtain at that point because you're most likely not gonna make use of it's effect more than once.

What other pure cards are you talking about besides souls, apprentice, rod, circle, servant, eternal, salvation & illusion? pretty often in my experience using the deck. im always one link summon or one special summon away from having a good play on first or second turn and win if i have village, or skill drain, i think that adding eye of timaeus is a better play although im still trying to figure out what card to change it up with

@@navis9802 The problem with Eye of Timaeus though is that there's no reliable way to search it out other than going hard on draw power because for some reason it doesn't count for all the support cards that search for cards with "Dark Magician" in it's text.

I always wonder that myself. Very few of these master duel uploaders state the bracket. I'd say this is a mid-plat deck, maybe low diamond depending on your patience.

Depends on the current meta aswell I would prob say you can get to platinum (but which deck can't do that tbh) and with the right matchups and some luck you light get to mid plat.

Dude i found a card that can search any card that compliments this deck.. “top share”.. combo it with magician soul, soul servant, chicken game, upstart goblin, dark magicians, or anything that lets you draw.. dark magical circle also help position tyrant throes on top for you to draw.. the only drawback is that your opponent also searches a card and put it on top of his deck and on top of that he can see your card first and search for the out.. but goodnews is if you have the counter to his out then you can proceed.. we have negates for spells or traps anyway.. navi, apophis, solemn judgement.. and if we have throes already set we can search for village instead he wont be able to use spells since he can only set cards.. so even if its a spellcaster its not yet treated as spellcaster.. or if we have a card that reshuffle his deck or remove the top of his deck to the grave or banish it.. kashtira??

With triple threat thrust.. we can search for top share too.. or if we have top share already and we have triple threat thrust or heavenly prison we can search for the out for his out (counter to whatever he picks). And if its second turn we can get the card that we need. Triple tactics thrust only searches for spells or trap.. this can search monsters as well.. seems like its OP.. its like sarcophagus but better since you can get it easily in dark magician deck..

try shadows light on dark magician deck.. you can fusion summon more often than expected. Magicians rod always gets negated anyway.. but with shadows light you can still fusion summon, synchro, xyz, and link summon.. and an extra normal summon. So use shadow light on magician rod and special summon minerva, lightsworn maiden.. it is so versatile coz depending on situation you can go different paths.. you can synchro summon into muddymud dragon. Then you can fusion summon into dragoon, dragon knight, dark magicians, invoked caliga, etc.. skys the limit.. if you need a draw you go for dark magicians but you can go stardust charge warrior.. combo it with top share and you can use traps right away.. you can search and use anything from your deck.. with triple tactics thrust you can search shadows light and top share easily. You can use destined rivals and negate all monsters with that combo. Invoked caliga is underated too.. shadows light is so versatile you can summon mahad easily and set up to synchro summon chaos angel. Chaos archfiend with dark magician and effect veiler. Magician souls and effect veiler into formula synchron.. you can go xyz level 3s if you need negates, destroy etc. You can go link as well. But the fusion with muddy dragon is insane coz they wont expect it. Im still looking for more lines and I haven’t mention all the things i found but I felt its super good going first. Its biggest drawback us that you cant attack for that turn..
