I 100% agree. To think that NU was loaded with talent to the likes of the Santiago sisters towering lineup, powerful Myla Pablo, playmaker Ruby De Leon and small but terrible Jorelle Singh, Alyssa Valdez elevated herself and made her own mark in college volleyball history. People will always dispute between Jaja and Alyssa but no doubt Alyssa made her mark and presence as early in college all the way to her professional career while Jaja is a different talent and recognition on its own. Late bloomer lang kasi si Jaja but she is one of the best out there. ADMU vs NU is my favorite pairing at the UAAP and SVL and I've watched all their games. With her multiple awards at an early stage of career and up to the present is a true testament of being called a "Phenom".
